Tim Weed In particular I was impressed by the sympathetic main characters in A Passage to India. I wanted to take a look at how Forster went about it. Here's what I found: http://weedlit.blogspot.com/2013/04/c...

Thoughts?

Kei Shimosawa I just read the article. This is interesting. i do not think Mrs Moore as thorougly as Fielding or Adela. I know that Mrs Moore is important character. But, to me, She is less appealing. Although I understand that She is nice lady, her attitude after Azis was arrested is confusing. Why does she not help Aziz? She is so enigmatic that I cannot undertand her. This article tells of her having influenced the story spiritually. The final chapter "temple" is hard to understand. Symbols and connotations. Having read this article, I come to comprehend this remarkable book much better. Thanks. Tim. and sorry for posting late! I have just found this page.
