Ugh, it can be challenging to find someone who is into the same stuff! Who likes books?

I love writing. And vampires. Anything fantasy that authors have not already thought of. I am working on a few books of my own :)

E.B. Hood (melabeth) Then we are the lovers of knowledge. You read to gain it, and you write to share it... also a little entertainment on the way never hurts. That's why I love to weave fiction in the backdrop of reality.

I love how you said that. Also, writing is just a way to escape the world and into the one of your own creation where anything you want there can become your reality.

✿.Ⓐⓟⓞⓞⓡⓥⓐ.✿ (apoorvak) For me writing is more of a way to express myself without readers knowing too much about me. Through fiction, I can put a part of myself in the story, but no one else would realize it that much.

That's what I always say. I just love how unending it can be. I can type for hours and hours and not even realize it.

E.B. Hood (melabeth) Like you I do not use writing to express myself as one of my characters. My characters are always far from me, they are people who entertain me and thrill me. My first book the lead character is a fifteen year old girl. I am not her, she comes to life on the pages. I creator her, but do not control her, for she will do things that I would not. For me writing is like reading, a escape from this world to another. And in that story it stirs my emotions and makes me feel alive.
Through emotions we remember the past and feel free. See I can't be one of my characters, I can't see myself writing about me, for I would always like to think I would make good choices. If I were in the story, I would want someone else to write, so I could see myself as others do.

That is a very cool way of saying it. My writing holds hidden desires that I get to escape into and create a world of my own making.

E.B. Hood (melabeth) When I write; my world becomes larger and more in-depth. What amazed me was when I shared my thoughts with others, they did not find me weird or crazy, but wanted to hear more. For so many years I kept my stories to myself in fear of rejection.

That is what I have a problem with. Though now I am on chapter 4 of my book and I am gaining good feedback on it. I am very excited.
