LibraryCin | 196 comments Does anyone know how to combine editions of a book here?

I recently read and rated a book, added it to my shelf, etc.

Today, as I was scrolling through the tbr list, I found that book listed there. I did a search separately and it appears I added my review and rating to a different edition.

So.... I'd like to combine the two editions, rather than just delete the other ed. from my tbr. (I wonder how many other books that has happened with...)

Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question, Cin ... but you might find help in this group: http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1...

LibraryCin | 196 comments Ok, thanks. I did already join that group to comment on the "threaded discussion" thread. Sigh... (yes, that sigh is for the reactions to the threaded discussion suggestion...)

Given that Goodreads isn't set up to show ONLY the unread posts, I can see why they would think it would be confusing.

On the other hand ... I joined a group where the "what are you reading" thread has never been changed since the group started. There are over 30,000 posts! Talk about confusing / intimidating for a new group member! I even posted on it, asking that they start a new thread but have been ignored.

I dont know if it will help but on the book page in the upper right hand corner you can find different editions. That may or may not help at all.

There are ways it can be done, and as we shelfarians know, it tends to work out better. But, they just can't seem to picture it.

Ouch! Yeah, I don't like those super-long threads.

I also don't like that, although the new posts are all at the bottom, when you try to go to them, it takes you to the very end, and you have to scroll up to find the first unread/new post that you haven't yet seen. I know I have another thing I don't like, but it's not coming to me right now.

I guess we all have our preferences!

Kristel (kristelh) | 77 comments I agree that it is tough work to start or follow a conversation. Feels much more conversational at Shelfari.
