Luke smiled like a happy puppy. "yay!"
Maria rolled her eyes "Just ignore him Mat, Let's play Halo" she strolled over to her Xbox and turned it on, tossing Mat a wireless controler
Luke pouted and sat on her bed. "can i play after whats-his-name?"
"No" Maria said "And his name is Mat, he's in our history class" Mat strolled over in Maria's desk chair "I swear to god if you spawn camp me like last time I'm gonna break something"
Luke sighed "i bet 'Mat' sucks at this game..." He challenged.
"It seems that way against Maria, but I'm ranked 128 on Xbox live" Mat stated, matter-of-factlyMaria rolled her eyes as she snuck up behind Mat's character and stabbed him in the back
"like i said, you suck balls man." He chuckled.
Mat cussed under his breath "It doesn't help that she's ranked as 29""face it Mat, you can't beat me in any game" Maria smirked a bit
"well I'm rank 31." Luke shrugged like it was no big deal.
"I'm still better than you" Maria statedMat rolled his eyes
"oh yeah, would you like to test that theory?"
"It's already proven in the numbers, I'm 2 ranks higher than you"
"actually i should be higher but i haven't played in a while." He shrugged.
"Well I don't really like shooters, I like rpgs more"
He rolled his eyes "you're just finding excuses to not let me play."
"I am" she admitted as she changed the game out at Mats request
He sighed, poking one of her stuffed animals.
"I said don't touch anything" Maria snapped Mat sort of smirked
"i didn't peg you as a stuffed animal kind of girl." He smirked "cute."
"I'm not, they're presents from my family from past years. It'd be rude to throw them away" Maria stated, loading Mortal Kombat for her and Mat
He nodded "alright." He stopped messing with them. "is there anything i can do?"
"You can leave" Mat suggested"You can do my homework" Maria said
"i like my second option. i shall do anything to please my lady!" He said proudly.
"There's not much that pleases me" Maria statedMat just rolled his eyes
"then what would you like me to do?" He asked, going through her backpack, getting the homework.
He nodded and stared doing it.
Eventually Mat quit playing Xbox with Maria after she had beat him several times and they pulled her long boxes of comic books out
He finished her homework. "done." He smiled "i even did you trig homework too."
"ok" she sighed, flipping the page of her Spawn no. comic
He sat behind her, reading over her shoulder.
She glared at him slightly "what?"
"oh nothing, just reading." He murmured, still looking at the comic.

"And now you're not" She stated and put the comic book away
He pouted "okay..." He said passively. He was thoroughly ignoring Mat now.
Mat got up "Hey, Maria, why don't we go"'Best idea i've heard all day" She sighed and got up
"okay, I'll just stay here and play the- wait Matt is coming with you?" His face turned serious as he decided to tag along.
"Yes, he is. Since he's actually my friend" She stated, closing the door in his face behind her and Mat
He continued following, boring holes in the back of Mat's head (metaphorically) with his eyes.
Maria sighed "Why don't you just go back to your 'dad'?"
"because he is pcsyco. I don't exactly want to explain why i wasn't home with Jessica."
Maria raised an eyebrow "Jessica?"
"yes, Jessica." He sighed.
"didn't i tell you? she is my sister-well not by blood." He said.
"oh... Why have I never seen her with you or him?"
"You're seriously letting him stay?!" Mat exclaimed
