He sighed but nodded, going back to the his house "I'm home!" He called as he walked through three door.

Later that day Maria got a call from Martian Manhunter about a robbery in progress. She walked outside and transformed into Noir before flying off
"joker, after this i really need to head back." He said, after knocking out all the clerks and security guards. He started helping the joker get money.The joker scoffed "for what reason? You don't want to bond!?" He acted hurt as he scooped up the money
"no no its just... There's someone... Waiting for me..." Jester muttered.
Joker paused "its this someone... A girl?" He grinned when jester didn't respond "it is! It is! Haha!" He laughed, making jester grumble to himself.
Noir rose out of the shadows behind Joker, grabbing him in a head lock and pulling him away from the money "If you surrender now your Jail time will be shorter"
Jester grabbed her by the waist, smiling, though it seemed strained. "hey, long time no see." He pulled her to him, spinning her so he was holding her to his chest and looking into her eyes. "how's your back?" Joker headed for the door "I'll meet you back home! I'm sure you have this under control!" He left.
Noir glared at Joker as he left, then she turned her glare onto Jester, her electric blue eyes boring into him
"i like your other eyes-no, your real eyes better." He grinned, holding her tightly "and you're so much nicer when you're sleeping." He whispered in her ear. He pulled away and was about to turn into wind.
She growled and grabbed onto his wrist, spinning around him and twisting his arm behind his back, making sure to cause him pain "What the hell are you talking about?"
He grit his teeth "nothing... I just want to have fun!" He used his other hand to get free, pushing her away
She just grabbed him again, putting him into a nelson "you are not disappearing again!"
He growled "why? He already took the money, what is the point of taking the side kick!?" He glared, he was actually being pretty gentle with her. He didn't want to hurt Maria even if she was noir.
"Because it's my duty to put criminals like you behind bars" She stated, pushing him towards the door
He put an arm around her waist, touching her hurt back. "sorry..." He muttered as he lifted her. "and how come im the criminal? I'm just trying to make a living Maria " he said her real name to throw her off guard.
She looked at him shocked "what the hell are you talking about?" she hissed through clenched teeth
" when i knocked you out i saw your true identity." He smirked "I'm surprised you haven't figured out mine yet, sweet heart." He chuckled. He glanced down and grinned when he saw she was still wearing the necklace.
She cursed underneath her breath, she had really screwed up this time. Martian Manhunter was going to have her head if he found out, heck, even he didn't know noir's true identity "you bastard, I swear to god, if you tell anyone I will kill you!"
"Hmm, if you can guess who i am, i won't go spilling the beans to the joker, or anyone else." He smiled "deal?"
"You fucker" she hissed, her back really starting to hurt
"language, geez. You always have had a fowl mouth." He pouted "the sooner you figure it out, the sooner i leave you alone." He shrugged.
She calmed down and deactivated her powers, returning to normal Maria before she screamed "SOMEONE HELP!!!"
His eyes widened before he clamped a hand over her mouth "Maria! I'm not going to hurt you! If i was going to don't you think i would have by now!?" He sighed "want a hint? I'm in your class, I've talked to you every day since the beginning of the year. You should have figured out who i am a long time ago." He looked at her with his emerald green eyes "guess."
Maria bit down on his hand, struggling against him
He moved his hand from her mouth, getting frustrated. He grabbed her necklace, letting the pendant rest in his poison as he showed it to her "i gave this to you!" He said looking deep in her eyes "you even asked if i had stolen it."
"I get the hint idiot! I'm not as stupid as you say I am!" She yelled, starting to lose her temper with him, her eyes starting to glow electric blue again
"oh yeah!? Then say my name!"he glared, not showing even a little fear at her eyes changing.
"Just shut the fuck up Luke! Just shut up! I thought I got enough of you at school but now you're Jester too! Are you trying to ruin my life?!"
"well you're not exactly helping mine! I thought i could mess around with noir all i wanted, but you just had to be her! I never wanted to hurt you!" He snapped, taking off the mask. "i was hoping i could actually be your friend today but my 'dad' decided it was time for bonding." He moved away from her "well, i guess my plans of helping you today are canceled, huh?"
"yeah" she crossed her arms over her chest "and for every other day I have to see you too" she took a step back, shadows starting to swirl around her fist, and she punched him as hard as she could in his face
He winced, stumbling "I'm not hitting you back!" He glared. Holding his jaw. "so do you hate me even more now?"
"what do you think?" she asked harshly before sinking back into the shadows
He sighed... Then cursed "damn that really fucking hurt!" He groaned before turning into wind and going home. (wana have him talk to the joker's daughter?)
((sure, but i also have a good idea))Jessica (i think that's her name) sighed in her dad's 'office' bored out of her mind. she had already messed with pretty much every weapon and prototype in there
Like blew in through a window and materialized sitting on a sofa. He groaned again, rubbing his jaw.
Jessica spun around in her chair "Luke! wow, that's a big bruise" she giggled
"yeah, it is." He smiled "hi Jessica." He laid down on the sofa "i may or may not continue going to school. Though i really don't think your father will care." He shrugged.
"He won't, then we could spend more time together, and I won't be so bored!" she smiled widely, almost exactly mimicing her father
He refused the urge to shiver "yeah, but I'm not really in the mood for company... I think the chick who just punched me... Is my first crush..." He said, staring at the ceiling strangely. "she probably going to throw away the necklace i gave her too." He sighed to himself.
"So? You don't need her. You've got me and Papa" she giggled, running around the sofa
He chuckled softly "yeah but..." He sighed "now she hates me... I feel like i have a needle stuck in my heart and it won't go away."
"aw, cheer up Luke!" Jessica pouted "you're no fun when you're like this!"
He sat up "well i did just get beat up by the girl i like do I'm not in my best mood." He shook his head "so you think i could... Have some ice cream?" He asked nicely
Jessica smiles "I dunno, could you?"
"yes. I believe i can." He smiled "can you get it for me? Pleeeeaaaasssse?" He gave her the puppy eyes.
Jessica sighed "you are soooooooo lazy sometimes!" She smiled again before skippong off to get him some icecream
He laughed slightly before slipping back into deep thought "how did she not figure out i liked her? I picked on her to get her attention." He muttered.
Jessica came back, skipping with a bowl of ice cream
He looked at her, smiling again "thank yooouuuu!" He took the bowl, kissing her cheek lightly like he always did, before digging into the ice cream.
She giggled, blushing lightly underneath all of her make-up.
"i think you should wear less make up. Show your natural beauty." He smiled charmingly.
"but i wanna be like papa!" she explained in her loud, high potched voice
