I did like it, but not as much as the other books. I mean, the characters weren't as good, it didn't answer all my questions, and I felt kinda bored for a while... Plus it was mostly about Mark searching for Trina, don't you think??

U thought there were completely unnecessary fight scenes where there coul have been insight into the character's personalities. At the end of the book I didn't feel like I really knew any of the characters.
Yes, I liked it. More because it answered all of my questions. I really think it should be read before the fist book.
No way!! Then you know everything and its not as exciting and suspenseful!!
Maybe but I had so little idea about what was going on in maze runner. (What caused the maze ) It seems to me that the reason the author came up with a prequel is because readers were to confused with all the hints in maze runner about what was going on. What would happen if you read the maze runner now after reading the whole series I would think you would be able to pick up a lot more. I'm sure there is a lot of stuff I missed
Do your mean that little short one?? Um it's on the Internet, it only goes for about three pages tho
I thought it was interesting to get the backstory about how everything started. Maybe it was just me but the solar flares and the flare virus confused me and I got them mixed up, but this book finally clarified it for me. At the same time it didn't hold my interest the same way that the maze runner did, it was good, but not great.
I would die to know all the other Glader's backgrounds... Alby's, Newt's, Minho's, Gally's, Chuck Frypan..... we already know Teresa's.
i thought this book was boring, i liked the other three books way better because this book was mostly about new characters, and had nothing to do with Thomas, Minho, Newt or Teresa, i thought it would be about Thomas' past and how his life was before the flare affected his life.
