Martin (archmarv) | 18 comments A thing I really love in King's books is the way that the intersect each other and how some characters appear in different books that are not directly related.

It has always been hard to explain to Out-Siders, but now I can just whip out this flow chart made by Gillian James and show'em.

Thought I'd share it with my fellow Kingsians.

Squire (srboone) | 92 comments Hmmm...this must be an updated version of the chart I saw almost a year ago as certain connections are on here that weren't on the one I originally saw.

I see James still hasn't put The Dark Tower Books on the chart (which would probably make it about 5 time larger). The connection between The Dead Zone and Carrie is still misleading. The Dead Zone doesn't mention the prom fire in Carrie as an actual event in King's world, a bystander accuses Johnny Smith of setting a building on fire with his mind, like "in that book Carrie." But I guess that's quibbling. It is a tremdous aid in helping make those connections (though I still find it hard to read.)

Martin (archmarv) | 18 comments It's definitely hard to read and I must admit that I do not remember all the alleged connections. I am thinking the Dark Tower books are kept out as they in some cases touch on several of the other books and locations in a single book.

One should maybe try creating a 3D map? ;)
