Marianna sighed. In a reprimanding voice she said, "Andrew Marquez, you must learn the ways of the Great Trouble Artists. Then you can join their ranks."

"Hmm.. I'll pass. I'm a good boy." Andrew held his hands up and did quotations are good boy. He glanced down at his wet clothes, sighing quietly. "We always end up like this, don't we?"
"Clearly you people haven't heard of superheroes or the Avengers. Shame"she said, pulling her hair out of the braid and brushing it with her hand.
Marianna tackled Andrew playfully, her elbow on his chest. "Yes. It is an ancient tradition. Any more stupid questions?"
Andrew laughed, shaking his head. He leaned back against the seat, a smirk resting on his features. "I've always been a batman fan." Kat addressed Analise, shrugging nonchalantly.
Marianna let him sit up. "Who's up for Burger King? I prefer that over some fancy restaurant for snotty rich people. Like...like my parents." Suddenly her face darkened and turned deadly serious. She turned away.
"My shirt is soaked. Oh well. At least it wasn't my signed batgirl shirt. Or my signed Raven shirt. Or.."she rambled. She looked as though she entered a wet t-shirt contest. Lolz
Kat shifted uncomfortably in her seat. This girl got a signed cat women shirt? The things shed do for that.. Andrew noticed Marianna's face fall. He brushed a wet strand a wet strand of hair out of her face, a thoughtful expression resting on his own.
Marianna turned to Andrew and Kat. Then, she glanced at Analise. "Well...you see..ugh. My parents are chopping down about two or three acres of...forest for a new mansion. Makes me feel like a rich snob." A small tear traced down her cheek, but she quickly wiped it away, forcing a smile.
Andrew wondered suddenly why that was a bad thing. "Don't be upset about it" He suggested, not really great at the whole comfort thing.
Marianna smiled. "Thanks for trying," she managed. More brightly, she suggested, "Back at the zoo...something about dinner..."
"I got the Hollywood sign for my second birthday. Feel better? Oh, and how about Dairy Queen? I haven't had a blizzard in forever!"Analise said happily.
Andrew stayed quiet, not really caring where they ate. "Any place works." Kat nodded, also void of a preference.
Marianna grinned. "You know my thoughts.." In an announcer's voice, she said, "Ladies and Gents...A GENUINE MIND READER!"
Marianna laughed. "Beat you there!"
"Normal people food?" Andrew questioned, glancing at his sister. She shrugged, giving him a confused expression. "They're rich. We wouldn't understand." She chuckled, too hungry to think about much.
Marianna laughed at their reactions and grabbed Andrew and Kat by their hands. "Come on!"
"I also got a blue whale for my fourth birthday, part of Asia for my fifth, a private jet for my six, a college named after me for my seventh and the list goes on and on. "She said, running a hand through her hair. "Hey, Kat, do I look like I participated in a wet t-shirt contest? Cause I definitely feel like it!"
Marianna laughed. "I got a museum dedicated to me, a highway named after me, two giraffes who got really annoying...but I still have them...and obviously my helicopter and the planes. Did I tell you I'm learning to fly our lightweight solar-powered plane?"
Kat wrinkled her nose, laughing quietly. "More like a pornstar..." She muttered so no one could hear. "Wow, I once got an iPod." Andrew tapped his chin thoughtfully.
Marianna suddenly looked guilty. "I got an iPad once...thought I didn't need it, and donated it to charity."
Marianna nodded. "You know what...I'm pretty sure my parents know yours..."
"Imagine all the children in Africa you could save." Andrew shook his head at both of them, before climbing out of the airplane. Kat followed close behind. He wrapped his arm loosely around her.
"Hey, what's over nine hundred trillion dollars when you don't want it?"she asked, wiping her eyes before she could cry. She sat down on the floor the laid down on her stomach. "Never mind, this hurts"she said, meaning her boobs. She sat back up and looked over at Andrew.
Marianna smiled. "Oh yeah...donated about 4 trillion dollars to schools in Africa... Oh look! Dairy Queen!"
Analise stood and walked out. She sighed. She wronged her hair out and followed behind Andrew and Kat.
"Finally.." Andrew muttered, feeling uneasy around Analise and Marianna. He walked into the restaurant, loving the greasy smell it gave off.
Marianna walked into Dairy Queen. "On me." she said.
((Wait for me...plz?gtg))
((Wait for me...plz?gtg))
Analise walked in and smiled. She ordered a large cookie dough blizzard and a large basket of chicken strips. "Um... Do you have change for a hundred?"she asked, embarrassed, handing the cashier a hundred dollar bill. "Um.. Actually, keep the change"
((Sure!))
Andrew reached for his back pocket, realizing he had left his wallet at home. Kat noticed and rolled her eyes at him before pulling her own out. "What do you want?" She asked , glancing up at the list. He also looked up. "How about an Oreo shake?" Andrew suggested. Kat nodded and ordered a large Oreo shake. "Il just share with you." She gave the cash register the money.

Marianna walks to Analise, and whispers, "Do you have any change? I only have one...two...three...four......ten....well, a lot of $100 bills, and about 7 $50 bills..."
"I already paid for all of us. I only carry hundreds. Plus I totals her she could keep the change to pay for the next people in line"she whispered back.
Andrew and Kat found an empty booth and squeezed inside. They waited patiently for the others to get there stuff. "Wow, this is delicious." Kat licked her spoon clean. Andrew nodded, taking a small bit too.

Marianna grins. "I feel you." She grabs an ice cream and walks to Andrew and Kat, leaning against the table. "So...how's your ice cream?"

"Wonderful." Andrew turned his gaze to Marianna's face. "Even better when Kat pays." He teased, nudging Kat lightly. She nodded, "It's always better when you don't have to pay."
Analise walked over with her huge blizzard and basket of chicken. She took a seat across from Andrew and smiled. "Hallo!"

Marianna grinned. "I like paying for stuff...I have too much money..." Then she dipped her finger into Andrew's Oreo shake, tasting it. She proceeded to taste Kat's, and daintily dabbed at her mouth with a napkin, which she made into a snowflake and set on the table, with a hundred dollars wrapped inside.

Andrew watched her set the bill inside the napkin. What would it be like, to have endless money at your fingertips? He rarely has any extra money, much less 100 dollars , to spend on wanted pleasures.
Marianna saw Andrew's face. She offered him a wad of cash.
"Hey, you guys want free money? Here's two hundred thousand dollars"she said, plopping a pile of cash on the table. "That's what I carry in my purse. Plenty to go around. "
Andrew shook his head, not willing to accept the money. Kat watched the exchange, strangely revulted. In a swift movement she jumped out of her seat and paused above he table. "I .. Think I'm gonna head home." She hurried out. Andrew stood up to follow, worried about her.

Marianna slid into the booth next to Andrew and softly said, "Being rich is not so much a blessing as a curse...you're lucky to have such a nice, cozy place to call home...and believe me, being, well, not so rich would be...amazing. Being rich...tends to create snobs. That's why I don't want to be rich. And I'm sure being...middle-class is really a blessing in disguise. Being rich...that's not all there is to it. No family time. A personal chef? Whatever happened to peanut butter-jelly sandwiches? Media interviews...you can NEVER get away from anything without some bad publicity."

"I don't want this stupid money. People call me a slut, snob, whore..." She said, beginning to cry. "This is why I cut. No real actual friends. I have everything. I don't want ANYTHING!"she exclaimed, choking on tears. Tears fell onto her arms and the makeup that covered her self harm scars began to ran and revealed her biggest secret.
Marianna put an arm on Analise's hand. Almost too quietly to hear, she said, "I know how that feels. Nobody likes me for anything but my fortune. So I don't think you're any of those things. Everyone thinks rich people are...well...lucky. But I would rather be friendless than have...friends who...who only ARE friends for my fame and fortune. Having nothing is better than having everything."
