"Whatcha looking at there?" Wren came up behind her.
"Written In Red." Charlie said, without thinking.
Wren leaned against the bookshelf. "Never heard of it. What's it about?"
"Oh, I have'nt read it yet, but it's by Ann Bishop." Charlie said and pulled it down.
Charlie smiled. "Well, it's a great author and a great book I bet."
((Looks cool!))"Sounds cool," Wren said absentmindedly.

Charlie walked back into the bookstore, looking around.
Jason strolled in and checked out some books.
Charlie noticed a boy standing near the part of the store she needed to check.
Jason glanced up as a girl walked pass him. He smiled.
Charlie looked at him, then at the books. The new one she wanted was too high for her to reach.
Jason glanced up at where the girl was. "Want some help?" He asked.
Jason walked to her. "Which book?" He asked, raising a hand up.
((Sorry, had a meeting))"'Black Sun Light My Way.'" Charlie said.
((Oh sorry.))Jason reached up and brought it down. "For you." He said bowing and holding the book out. He smiled. "I'm Jason." He grinned
"I'm Charlie." She said, reaching for the book. Her sleeve pulled up to show the latest scar.
Jason glanced at her wrist. "Charlie eh? Cool name. I've never heard it on a girl though." He said shrugging.
"My mum wanted a boy, she wanted to do a sex change on me."
Jason raised an eyebrow. "Well I think having a girl is fine. After all she got you didn't she?" He said trying to make her feel special about that fact
"My dad divorsed her because of it."
"Oh. Your dad must really love you then."
"Both my parents are dead. I have a dog but."
"Oh. I'm sorry. My dad lives in New York and my mom died in a car accident. She was drunk." Jason explained.
"Yeah. But it's okay. I don't mind." Jason grinned.
Charlie looked away.
Jason bit his lip. "Hey. I'm sorry. We don't have to talk about this."
"It's ok." Charlie said, pulling down her sleeve.
"I finished reading 'Hunters Moon' Last night."
"Cool. I heard it was good. I'm reading the hunger games."
"They made me cry."((They really did))
"Aw. Well that's what a good book can do to you. Do you have a boyfriend?"
Charlie looked at him in surprise. "No."
"Huh. Cool. We should hang out. I mean as friends. I have a girlfriend who I'm "madly in love with"." Jason put air quotes.
"Uh huh. Why did you ask?"
Charlie looked at him out of the corner of her eye. "Ok, I'm going to go pay for this."
"Don't know."
