Alana turned around hearing Riley call over to her. " Oh, hey Riley. Yes it is an enormous book, it seems there is a lot information covered in AP Literature and Composition, doesn't it?" she said dryly.
"Way too much for me to handle. Thank God that I don't have to take that class," He grinned at her. Then he said to Storm, "Alana's not gonna bite you,"
Storm still hid behind her hair. "In my experience, that's not far off of what's possible..." she muttered.
"Hey, you think I'd actually do that?" she asked Storm slightly bemused. Turning back to Riley she sighed"Ya, I'm really not excited to spend my summer on this." she said waving absently to the book sitting at the counter. " But, Drake has to get his way.
Riley made a face, "Yeah, he can be a jerk. At least now you're going to be even more prepared for college!" He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Alana rolled her eyes at him " Technically, with all the classes I'm in,I'm already in college. If he wants to force me into and extra class he should at least chip in on the cost. This little monster, is gobbling up seven months of pay, which isn't including the price of tuition for actual class and anything else extra I need for it."she said turning around and giving the cashier a wad of cash of considerable size.

Wren laughed, "Yeah. You could call it that,"
Riley sighed. "Yeah... I'm not looking forward to having to do all that stuff either. I'm unorganized as it is, and I know my mom's not gonna want to do all of it, so it'll be interesting."
Riley laughed. "Nice. I don't think that my car's been out of the garage since April. Me and Wren walk everywhere,"
Riley nodded. "Sure," He said, then looked over in Wren's direction. "I'm gonna go tell my sister... if I can find her."
"Thanks," He said, "I'll be right back," Riley ran off with the AP book. He found Wren talking to some girl. "Here," He said, giving her the book and his debit card. "I'm going to get coffee with Storm. See you at home?" Wren nodded and turned back to her friend. Riley made his way back to Storm. "All set," He said.
Wren paused so that she could think of them all. "Track, gymnastics, volleyball, lacrosse, swimming, surfing, some soccer on the side." She said proudly. "Who's your sister? I might know her."
After buying the book, Alana made her way to the front of the store, stuffing the book into her bag as she weaved through the lines of shelves. Reaching the door, she grabbed her skateboard, that she had left leaning against the wall, and left the store.

@Maddison: "Oh, well, if you're freshman, I probably haven't met her yet." @Emily: "Sure, let's go,"
((meet you there))
"That's ok, though! I'll meet her this year! I'm co-captain with one of the seniors," Wren smiled proudly.
Charlie walked along the bookshelves. 'Please be here.' She tought to herself as she saw the bboks by Anne Bishop.
