The story is that i was so impressed by the great eyes and solemn appearance of the Owl that, having banished the mischievous crow, i honored the night bird by making him my favourite among feathered creatures. My bird was a Little Owl, (also called Athena noctua). I gave them a magical "inner light" gave Owls night vision. As the symbol of mine, the Owl is also a protector, accompanying Greek armies to war. If an Owl flies over Greek Soldiers before a battle, they take it as a sign of victory( which sadly, the stupid writer forgot to mention during the Second Titan War). In roman times, the deaths of Julius Caesar, Augustus, Commodus Aurelius, and Agrippa were all predicted by an Owl (atleast i warned then, even though i want them all to be fried by Dad)
