Hunter groaned. "Ugh! Then how about Candy Land? That way you don't have to kill anyone." What teen and young adult hasn't played violent video games?

Cole rose an eyebrow at him, then shook his head in slight exasperation. "Uh, sure, I guess." he said with a small shrug, though he was feeling slightly perplexed why a kid Hunter's age would want to play Candy Land.
"You'd honestly agree to that game?" Hunter laughed. "You're strange," he smiled and shook his head. "What do you do for fun?"
Cole furrowed his brow, now feeling confused. "Uh...Fun?" he repeated. He didn't have fun; he didn't have time to. He gave another shrug. "I don't do anything for fun; I'm too busy making sure that nobody dies on my watch."
Hunter groaned. "Whatever." He laid on his stomach and put his head on the arm of the couch, bored out of his mind. What do you do with someone who never has fun? They'd just make it all boring. No wonder he was too serious.
Cole rose an eyebrow and sighed. "Sorry to disappoint." he murmured. It was clear that he had already given up on him. Though he wouldn't admit it, it surprisingly made him feel...disappointed. But he pushed this thought away; there was no need for him to feel disappointed.
"Whatever." Hunter just shrugged and buried his face in his arm, deciding to just take a nap. Not like he had much else to do. Having Cole around made him feel like he was being babysat and he didn't really like the idea of it.
Cole gave a soft, almost inaudible sigh. He shrugged and leaned against the wall, his arms crossed. He stayed silent, having his suspicions that Hunter already didn't like him that much. Nobody really did, though Cole couldn't say that he blamed them; he didn't like himself that much, either.
Hearing his phone buzz on the table, Hunter sighed and reached for it without looking. Reaching too far for it, he eventually fell off the couch with a thud. Sitting up, he scowled and grabbed the phone off the table to check it.
Cole rose an eyebrow at Hunter, stifling a chuckle. "Who is it?" he asked, though he didn't really want to ask. But that's what he had always been told; question anyone and everyone who's involved in some way to the person you're protecting, keeping constant tabs on them. Cole personally thought that a bodyguard shouldn't pry into their personal business like this, but safety was safety. You couldn't trust anyone, even someone you knew really well. A lesson he had learned the hard way.
"A friend." This was going to annoy him, but he guessed he'd have to get used to it. Cole was only doing hiss job. Looking up at Cole he cocked his head. Squinting his eyes at him, he studied his face a bit and the way he stood. It made him a bit uneasy to just have someone watching him and so he decided to watch him back. Not much was gonna happen he already knew that, but he was still going to."
"Ah..." Cole shifted the weight on his feet slightly. "What do they want?" Cole watched Hunter watching him back. He wondered why on earth he was watching him, but Cole decided not to ask. The answer would probably just give him a headache, judging by only the short time Cole had interacted with Hunter.
(Hahah I love giving people headaches ^_^)
"To talk," Hunter replied, but didn't stop staring. The only time he would stop was to blink. He didn't even stop when his friend texted him again. "How long have you been here?" He'd lost track of time so he wasn't completely sure.

(Lol. XP)Cole was slightly taken off guard by the sudden question. "Uh...Twenty minutes to half an hour maybe?" He frowned. "Tired of me already?" he asked, his tone surprisingly teasing. Well, slightly.
"No. Just tired of having a babysitter." sitting back onto the couch he didn't break eye contact with him. His face stayed straight when Cole teased him, the only movement on his face was him scowling slightly.
Cole gave another soft sigh, though this time it was slightly more audible. "Well, I'm sorry to hear that." he said, and though his voice was back to being cold and emotionless, there was a slight hint of sincerity beneath his words. Cole wouldn't like to be trailed around by somebody he didn't know, either.
Hunter sighed, too. "Wanna watch a movie?" He didn't know what to say or do with Cole around and he felt like he had to change what he did since Cole was going to be around for a while. If Cole didn't want to then he figured that it wouldn't hurt if they talked to one another to get to know each other better.
Cole furrowed his brow in slight surprise. What was Hunter up to...? It wasn't like Cole was trying to make Hunter have a hidden motive-he just wasn't used to people being this...friendly towards him. He gave a slight shrug. "Uh...Sure, I guess. Just do whatever you want to."
"I can't just do whatever I want anymore. With you around it changes everything." Hunter got up and stretched. "What movie do you wanna watch?" He headed to where they kept the movies and looked over at Cole, motioning for him to follow him there."
Cole rolled his eyes slightly, but some of what Hunter said was true: he could still do whatever he wanted, he just had to run it by Cole first. So...yeah. He pretty much couldn't do what he wanted anymore. He followed Hunter over, looking over the movies. "Uh...Surprise me." he said with a small shrug. Watching movies were yet another thing he didn't do much of.
Shrugging, Hunter grabbed a movie and put it on before curling up onto the couch. Skipping to the menu he played the movie and stared at the screen as the movie began playing. Hunter went silent and still, not wanting to miss any part of it even though he'd seen it tons of times.
Cole walked over to were Hunter sat, but instead of sitting down himsef, stood awkwardly behind the couch. Another habit he had been taught: never relax completely, even for a moment. Even if that meant sitting down to enjoy a movie. One that Hunter seemed enthralled with. Cole stiffled a smirk at the boy's antics and crossed his arms, turning his attention to the movie that was playing.
Hunter let his head flop back as he stared up at Cole. "Why're you standing?" Running a hand through his hair, he waited for cole's reply without taking his eyes off of him. He liked Cole, but he thought that he was a bit too serious. He guessed that all bodyguards were like that. Either that or Cole just really hated his job.
Cole blinked slightly at Hunter's sudden question. "Uh...It's a...bodyguard thing, I guess." he said, feeling slightly awkward. "We're taught to never completely relax, so...I'm not completely relaxed."
"Well that's stupid," he said after a while. "No one's goi g to kill me during the movie." Hunter hit a couch seat and looked back up at Cole, trying to get him to sit down.
Cole opened his mouth to argue that there had, indeed, someone who had tried that before on his watch. But then he sighed, knowing that Hunter wasn't going to take no for an answer. So he sat down beside Hunter almost tentatively. He turned to him and rose an eyebrow. "Happy now?"
"Sort of. Not completely," he said and shook his head, but turned back to the movie. It was an alright movie, but Hunter liked it. It was interesting to him. Since he wasn't sure about what kind of person Cole was, he didn't say anything to him as the movie played on.
Cole rose a brow at Hunter's remark, though he said nothing, letting out a soft sigh as he turned to the screen. Though the whole time, he stayed alert, ready, not allowing to drop his guard completely for even a second.He took his job very seriously.
Once the movie was over, he went and took it out. "So, Whatcha wanna do now?" he asked Cole. Once the movie was put away he went back to where Cole was and sat down. He just looked so stiff and everything.
