How much does Elodin REALLY know?

Yah I think so too, Elodin is a very interesting character and we know that he was the very youngest ever accepted to the University.
Plus, I'd just like to see what led up to him becoming Chancellor.

I always thought that the mud in the boots and the quarry were to maximise her connection to Stone and that doing it at night reduces distraction, both visual and auditory.

Oh, and the weirdness of the situation provided an "edge" with relatively little danger.

Also every time she takes a step she thinks about clay (earth ---> stone). So she will be thinking about its mysteries all day long.
