This may help out some. I signed up to a site called askdavid.com. They are free to join, although there is a supporters package for $10 which provides more exposure. You can promote your book there and all they ask is that you share the site details. I had an email today saying they had shared my book details with 10000 twitter followers. I don't have twitter so this is good exposure if even 10% extra people look and pass it on.

You can advertise other products there as well. http://askdavid.com/ I had a problem with something and I emailed the site and got an almost immediate response

I do this myself, they dont do anything though. Its just a place for people to place a review of your book.

That is what I thought, but I got an email today about the book being promoted on twitter, which is good for me as I don't have twitter and bad for the 10k people who just got spammed ;)

Yes. I hadn't had much before that. But to be fair I sort of forgot so wasn't promoting it there
