Show new book on first page

How do I get my latest book to show on the first page of my titles?

It automatically was added to my listings on GoodReads when it was published, which I appreciate, but it's currently buried under much older titles.

The book page defaults to sorting by popularity (times shelved by users, combined with average rating). Each user can change the sort (to alphabetical or by pub date, etc.), but there is no way to change the order for all users manually.

So the author can change the way the titles display on her author page, but that's not necessarily how a reader who goes to her author page sees them?

No. Like any user, she can sort them on the book list page by various sorts. The order on the author page is strictly by popularity, and cannot be edited or sorted.
