Benn | 3 comments Hello All,
I've reviewed this book and note the cover, author's pic and bio are missing. I have the above missing details - may I have some help with uploading these, please.
Many thanks and blessings,
Benn

Sandra | 31511 comments Benn,

Can you post the cover to your photos, we can pick it up from there.

You can post the bio here, and we can copy and paste.

As to the author pic - you need copyright information:

Copyright is important!
So before you upload an image, make sure that either:

You own the rights to the image (usually meaning that you created the image yourself)
You can prove that the copyright holder has licensed the image under a free license
You can prove that the image is in the public domain
You believe, and state, a fair use rationale for the specific use of the image that you intend

You need to provide a Justification, link to source for the photo. Public domain does not include photos of authors in/on books.

Benn | 3 comments Hello Sandra,

Thank you for your quick reply.

Cover photo is in my photos, as directed.

The author pic is also in my photos. Jacinta McShane sent me the author pic by email to be used specifically for this purpose - I believe the copyright is her's. If you need to check this, I can provide her email address for confirmation.

Author bio and book info as provided by the author, is as below:

Profile
Jacinta McShane is a 61 year old single parent of a 17 year old son.
She is the survivor of a childhood affected by alcoholism, emotional, physical and sexual abuse.

Jacinta successfully ran her own Training Consultancy for 15 years writing and facilitating workshops in leadership, management, sales and customer care skills for the commercial and public sectors. She has been closely involved in the set up PALS – The Patient Advice and Liaison Service.

Her diagnosis of Breast Cancer 9 years ago years ago presented Jacinta with a unique opportunity to heal her abusive past and allow the ‘godness’ within her to shine as it had never done before. The hidden gifts are magnificent and glorious.

Book Description
Staring death in the face of a cancer diagnosis in 2004, throws the world of this single mother and her 9 year old son into sheer chaos. As her world begins to fall apart, she sinks uncontrollably into the suppressed, agonising pain of her abusive childhood
With a relentless determination not only to survive but to live life fully in every way, she painstakingly claws her way back from her past finding the courage to confront her worst fears.
This is a true story of past and present, emotional, physical and spiritual healing written with raw emotion, vulnerability and searing honesty.
With the endless love of her son, the support of her family of friends, Cancer acting as a catalyst and the power of God within, Jacinta unearths an amazing abundance of precious and glorious gifts available to everyone of us.

Her inspirational story of vulnerability, courage and faith is her gift to you.

I've updated the book information (book cover and book description). As for the author information, I think only the author herself can edit it. She is perhaps a Goodreads author?

If you want to add other information to the book (number of pages, publisher), please post them here. Hope this helps. ^_^

Sandra | 31511 comments Benn, slayra is correct.

As the author is a Goodreads Author, only they and GR staff can edit Author bio or add pic. Librarians have no control over Goodreads Profiles at all.

Advise your contact, to advise the author to edit her information herself, or she can contact support to do it for her.

Benn | 3 comments Thank you both slayra and Sandra for your help, for updating what was possible and advising what else needing to be done by the author. I've advised the author and she'll do her bit...

I'd no idea how to do any of this and so really appreciate your making it so easy.

Blessings,

Benn
