This is the best Hunger Games book, the other two weren't very good to be honest. The other two were a disappointment.
I agree so much!! :D I really enjoyed this book-but the other two...-.-

Yes, the last one was...*Shudder* They just kept getting worse!
The characters seemed like they changed a lot. Half the time Katniss was huddled in a closet crying! It was just awful.
My class is reading this for English. We have to create our own tributes for whatever District we got chosen for. Surprisingly, some people in my class haven't read it before.
That sounds really fun, everyone making their own tributes like that. ^^
God I loved that book I swear I layer awake at night thinking of possibilities of what cud happen next
It was definitely a thrilling book! Unfortunately, I think things went downhill from there... it's a great book, anyway!

Although I watched the movie and read the book. I felt as though the story lines were so close yet so far. Who Agrees?
The first and second book we great and then the third one let me down. I'm going to start reading it again cause I don't remember what happened and I must know for the movie.

I made the mistake of watching the first movie before reading the first book, so I didn't get as much suspense as I could have on book 1. For that reason, book 2 was my favorite in the series. Book 3 had a couple things in it that I didn't love, but overall I liked the whole series. I'm surprised other people have a such a strong preference for book 1.
I loved the book. Now all I have to do is watch it.
I've had it sitting on my bookshelf for a looooong time. So when I read it, I was just like, Why the fudge did I not read this sooner? It's that good - For me anyway
Wow! I really hope I like it. All my friends read it and were like, "seriously, why haven't you read this?"
You are going to love it. I read the first one in one night. The second in two, and the third in one. I finished the series in 4 days. XD Looking back, I wish I took my time.

Finished The Hunger Games in 4 hours, Catching Fire the next day, and then I took three days to finish Mockingjay because I wasn't that fond of it... This was all a month ago. :(

XD same thing here.
I loved the it and was so glad that I had bought the box set because I wanted to read more. I have to say that Catching Fire was my favorite while Mockingjay was just a disaster. I am glad that the movie stayed true to the book though.
Thelivingmuffin wrote: "After this book everything goes kinda weird "Exactly :( The second book was ok. But the third, I don't really get how it could change so much and then the ending...The feels :( I really wanted to know how it ends and how Katniss save the day. However from the middle of the third book, it got awkward.
This book was best out of three. It had so much detail I couldn't put I down. I wanted Gale and then I wanted Peta I couldn't believe that Katniss had to choose between them.
Should I get it?????I liked the sample but I don’t know if it’s worth it... I like “Medusa Project” from Sophie McKenzie and I wrote a book similar to Hunger Games even though I’ve never read it. I think it’s my type of book but I need to know!
Should I get hunger games???

You can borrow it from the library if you're not sure you'll like it.
