"Joe? I can walk," she said softly, biting her lip.

He shook his head, laying her down when they reached the shelter.
Gwen sighed softly and then ran a hand through her hair. "Why won't you talk to me?' she asked, a little hurt.
Gwen shot him a glare. "Fine then," she said, crossing her arms and turning her back to him.
Gwen grabbed her sketchbook and started drawing with a pencil. She always did that when something was bugging her.
Gwen started to draw lines, not entirely sure what she was drawing, but it seemed to come out as the beach.
Gwen continued to draw, her back to him. She made sounds of annoyance as she didn't like the drawing.
Gwen groaned and she crumpled the drawing into a ball and threw it away.
"What?" she asked, not looking at him.
"Nothing," she said, crossing her arms.
"Tell me Gwen" he said softly, turning her around.
Gwen refused to look in his eyes so she looked down, crossing her arms still, remaining silent.
He lifted her chin so she was looking in his eyes.
Gwen then, stubbornly, looked away.
He sighed. "We're stuck on this island together. Alone" he reminded her.
"What's your problem? Now you want to talk? Well, talk to that rock, since you like ignoring me," she snapped, crossing her arms again.
Gwen ignored him again and stood up.
"I'm going for a walk," she said, stubbornly, not caring if he would object. It was hard to walk, but she just didn't want to be with him right now if he wasn't going to say anything.
She breathed out. "Why? You won't talk to me."
"i will now, I promise" he said, giving a boyish grin.
She rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile at his grin.
She rolled her eyes again. "Fine," she sighed, giving in.
Gwen rolled her eyes once again. "Yeah, yeah," she mumbled, hesitantly starting to walk.
Gwen didn't pull away, because it felt too good. She walked with him along the beach.
Gwen sighed softly. "It's very beautiful here."
Gwen smiled slightly. She looked at the sea. "I can never draw this. It kills me."
"Just all of this," she nodded. "The beach."
"Well, we have all the time you want to practice" he grinned.
She smiled sligthly. "We have," she said, playing with his fingers. "It's just hard."
She smiled softly. "You do?" she teased.
