I enjoy both ASOIF books and TV show. I'm currently finishing the 4th book, A feast of crows. Everybody told me that this was the weakest, but I liked it a lot, even though many of my favourite characters were absent.
Recently I've learned that the new season on tv starts on April, so I hope to finish reading Dance with Dragons before then.
Here is the trailer, if any of you are interested:

I've read the first two books in this series. The TV show on HBO is absolutely amazing. I just finished season three.

I am currently on A Dance With Dragons. It is alright so far. I'm into it. I wasn't a big fan of the 4th book I was just getting used to all of the characters and the names and then it seems like we had to learn about a whole new group of people. It was a bit confusing and slow for me, but it picked up about half way through the book!
C.M.J. wrote: "I stopped reading after the first book because, as some of you have already said, I got tired of Martin killing off characters. Eventually I'll start in again...I think."He loves to do that. Trouble is, that can leave a void in the story that's difficult to fill without starting over.

What I love about it the most are probably the characters - I even love the evil ones because they're interesting, they develop, and they're multifacetted.
I have yet to read A Dance with Dragons, and I'm a little anxious about it because all of my favorite characters were featured in A Feast for Crows, so I hope it won't be boring ;)
