I was never being rude. I was having a friendly argument/conversation about music. And I am commenting on the appropriate thread. This is the thread for all music, I never went and started commenting in a taylor swift specific thread.

Aaallright, cool, guys, good conversation. Just try to state your opinions as suggestions of what you think rather than fact; that's the problem here. I encourage healthy debates, just think about how you're phrasing stuff before you send, and that there may potentially be others reading who hold opposite opinions. Excellent.

"Taylor Swift sucks," or "Taylor Swift is bad," are not opinions, they are statements. Music preference -- that's lyrics, artists, genre, style, sound, EVERYTHING -- is extremely subjective. Basically, imagine you're in the room with someone who holds the exact opposite opinion to you, and if you must still express your opinion, do it in a friendly, I-don't-want-to-fight-you, respectful manner (and I mean as friendly as you can get. Intentions are hard to express in type.) Anything else will not be tolerated. Thank you.
