Hello there everyone,
As part of the group we are hosting a botm where each month the grup is asked to read a book and then join in the discussion. Our book is *drumroll please*
...
Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer
I have not read this book before so I am looking forward to reading it! I hope you all enjoy and comment with your thoughts.

Leigh (leighsalv) I finished it not too long ago and really liked it. Cinder's character surprised me because I was expecting her character to be someone who's shy, gives up easily b/c of how her stepmother treated her, but I was wrong. She was a kickass cyborg. The only thing I didn't like was the romance didn't really buy me. I feel that it was forced and just not realistic.

Sydney (sydneypearl) I just finished today. It was pretty good, but it wasn't totally awesome. I felt it was kinda predictable. But the author did an excellent job at making her own plot while still sticking to the Cinderella story.

I agree. I feel like there could have been more special parts of the book, but I did like how the author intertwined Cinderella into the whole thing. I also would have liked to see a little more of the Prince and how their relationship developed

Sydney (sydneypearl) Yeah...because well, it wasn't very romantic-y in my opinion. I think she could a done a better job on their relationship.

Yah I agree, I feel like their relationship just kinda formed with little development and that is a huge pet peeve of mine. hopefully the second book isn't like that.

Sydney (sydneypearl) Yeah, I'm not sure when I'll be able to read the second. I haven't seen it anywhere for me to buy and neither my school library or city library has gotten it yet.

Heathersbookreview Hey guys, just wanted to say I'm about 90 pages shy of finishing the sequel to Cinder, Scarlet, and it is AMAZING. To be honest I was a bit tentative to read it because Cinder was good but not amazing in my opinion, but this is blowing Cinder out of the water. So if you guys are looking for a good series to continune I highly reccomend this.

I feel the same way about it being predictable.
