The Hobbit is a book written before Lord of the Rings, but yes, it was written by the same author, and set in the same fantasy world (even with some of the same characters) as Lord of the Rings :). It's one of my favourite books in the world, and it's currently being turned into a film trilogy :D

I am not sure why but this series just feels different,I really love Clara though. :) And also JENNY, VASTRA AND STRAX TONIGHT!
(I am going to die at the end of the year though, Catching Fire, 50th Anniversary AND the Desolation of Smaug!!!)

I also love Clara but the new season has a different vibe. I know!! I'm hoping this ep will be the wham episode of this half of the season because there hasn't been a super stand out episode yet. I'm hoping Madame Vastra, Jenny and Strax will make everything better. Since I live in NZ it wont be out till tomorrow morning. I don't know how I'm gonna sleep tonight. My expectations are really high!!

There are only two episodes left of the series though :( but the Cybermen are back next week (and Neil Gaiman is writing it) and then the week after is the season finale and RIVEERRRRRRR.
