Sorry, Apryl, can't help you. I'm not interested in boys whatsoever, mostly because they are immature and I'm in middle school. Jus..."

I'm in middle school, too. 8th grade.

Sting I don't run into many people who read very much whether they're a girl or a guy. I have two friends who like to read and we all prefer different genres so it's not easy talking about books with them.

Apryl | 259 comments I don't have any friends at all who read that aren't on goodreads or who live several states away

Well, then go to the community of the website and join some groups. U probably won't find alot of your friends on here, but everyone else on this website is pretty friendly.

Andie N (andie-n) | 195 comments I've seen two boys. Kyle and Trelas. Any boys that like to read in my school would probably never join Goodreads. Then again I only know a select few girls that would join too, but that's because the people at my school mostly don't like to read. Yippee.
Hi Ratura, welcome!

message 2357: by Apryl (new)

Apryl | 259 comments My school is private and has 55 kids half of maybe is 8th through 12th and my small class of 10th graders has one girl who likes to read but she would never join goodreads.

message 2358: by Sting (new)

Sting Oh no, if she loves reading she might really enjoy food reads though. That stinks :/

message 2359: by [deleted user] (new)

How could she love reading but not ever join Goodreads? That's the one reason I joined!

@Apryl I have a small school too. It's a private Christian school that goes from k3-12. I don't know the around estimate of how many people are in our school. I known every body can fit into our gym with tons of room to spare. :)

Jamie Jo | 39 comments Wow y'all have some small schools. I'm in high school (freshman) and we have over 2,000 kids and it's only 9-12. My class is over 500 kids

message 2361: by Apryl (new)

Apryl | 259 comments Same Elizabeth mine is a private Christian school but it's k4-12

message 2362: by [deleted user] (new)

message 2363: by Apryl (new)

Apryl | 259 comments @Jamie my class has 7 kids including me

message 2364: by Sting (new)

Sting I graduated highschool in 2012 and I was homeschooled my whole life.

message 2365: by Apryl (new)

Apryl | 259 comments I had been homeschooled for several years before I went to the Christian school but I always hated it

message 2366: by [deleted user] (new)

Why do you hate it April?

message 2367: by Apryl (new)

Apryl | 259 comments All the friends I had made completely forgot about me and whenever I told someone I was homeschooled they would look at me with pity. I'm much happier where I am now though!

message 2368: by [deleted user] (new)

That's sad. I'm sorry they did that to you. Are you homeschooling now?

message 2369: by Apryl (new)

Apryl | 259 comments No. I go to a really small Christian school in my town, but next month I'm moving farther away so I'm probably going to have to be homeschooled my last 2 years of high school :(

message 2370: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm sorry :(

message 2371: by Apryl (new)

Apryl | 259 comments Ah it's all good. At least it's only 2 more years then I'm off to university.

message 2372: by Sting (new)

Sting Any time some one made fun of me for being homeschooled I would remind them it was classified the same as a private and I had the same legal rights. I just started telling people I went to "King's Academy" instead. I can't stand the pity. There's nothing wrong with it. I never had friends but I come from a big family.

message 2375: by Andie (new)

Andie N (andie-n) | 195 comments I've never been homeschooled, and I don't think I would want to be. But usually people at my school who used to be homeschooled are nicer than some of the others in my grade, so I always try to be friendly with them.
