Hi, I'm Green Elephant Girl or GEG, and I love Harry Potter and Dr Who among other fandoms. I have been known to cry when I'm really excited about a book or movie coming out, and enjoy knitting and writing stories with no foreseeable endings and major plotholes.
I've only ever read the Hobbit, but I really should get around to LOTR. :)

Hi, don't think I've introduced myself. I'm "Artemis" and I'll be 18 this month. Harry Potter is at the top of my list.

(Not to sound like Effie Trinket. For all those who have read the Hunger Games trilogy, Effie would be the last person I'd like to sound like).
Anyway. Welcome! We hope you like it on here at DumbleDORKS!
Hi! G.G., GEG, you can call me whatever. I'm easy like Sunday morning. *Bursts into song*

Hi, Artemis (love the name <3), Fatima (writing! Me, too), Rose (hey!), GEG/Green Elephant Girl (touché about the writing - gotta work on those plotholes. Oh, and elephants are fantastic), Holly (glad to have you here!), and Elsa! There's a place for everyone here, Elsa, you're very welcome :)
The amount of new members is overwhelming to say the least. Hope you're all enjoying the group!

Zeh Northern ones. Nooortherrrn. I love them so much.

So did anyone else's Hogwarts letter get lost in the mail...for like the 6th year in a row? I don't think owls are as reliable as everyone says they are."
Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a whovian more than anything else. My letter to Hogwarts got lost too. Its been lost so long I can't even remember when it was suppose to come. I've watched Sherlock and read some of Percy Jackson, but I love Doctor Who most.

Are you a Danosaur?? O.O

I don't know if this is the right folder to post this message or not? Apologies if I have made a mistake. For anybody who likes Harry Potter then you may be interested to know that on the 19th and 20th February my children's book, 'Brian, His Granddad & the Cup of Ages' will be FREE! It's currently available as a digital download and paperback. Blurb and links below:-
'When eleven-year-old Brian Pankhurst has to stay with his grandparents, he's not exactly enthusiastic. He barely knows them, after all, and they're a little strange. They're stranger than he realises, in fact. Very soon after he arrives at their ancient house, Brian starts to feel that something isn't right. Why has someone sent his granddad a completely blank letter? Why don't people who go in to the local bookshop ever seem to come out again? What does his granddad mean when he says Brian's father wasn't really an accountant? Then Brian wakes in the middle of the night and finds he's going to have to adjust to three things very quickly: magic is real, monsters are real, and he and his family are in terrible danger...'
