That's something we share then because my novels also have an element of psychological suspense.

A.R. Simmons (arsimmons) | 36 comments Anthony wrote (April, 2013): "I've recently realized that more than any other type of book, I like the series mystery. When they're done well, nothing can beat the depth and ease of character or richness of the world. At their worst, well, not the worst way to kill a few days."

I couldn't agree more. There is no better way to develop characters, enrich the setting, and involve me as a reader. As soon as I reenter the world of the series, I am involved and have personal connections with the main characters.

Chris Longmuir (chrislongmuir) | 23 comments I'm sure if you look back at the previous comments in this discussion you'll find several thriller writers, like myself, and then it's just a case of having a look to see if their books appeal to you. Good luck in your reading challenge. I read 91 crime fiction books for a nonfiction book I wrote and it was an enjoyable but lengthy experience. However, I'm sure you'll get a lot of pleasure out of it.

Craig Faris (craigfaris) | 10 comments Hi everyone. My name is Craig Faris and I write suspense thrillers and short stories. Since I started writing in 1994, I've been blessed to have been published 17 times and with 29 literary awards, mostly in short fiction. My novel, THE SPECTRUM CONSPIRACY was published in 2013 by Bella Rosa Books and thus far has won 6 literary awards. Not sure if talking about my book is ok, but here is the elevator pitch: "They assassinate the President in the White House briefing room on live television. Everyone in the world saw who did it and with a mountain of evidence against this poor patsy, it seems open and shut. But the real mystery is, what was the President about to say and who in the world could pull off the perfect assassination there?
Ted Tally, the Academy Award winning screenwriter of THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, called it: “Wow, what a book! It's a wild, white-knuckle ride, pedal to the metal right from page one, never letting up. A very impressive novel in ambition and scope, with intricate plotting, relentless pacing, action-filled, with technical and procedural details that bring real authenticity to the story. Bravo for writing this outstanding thriller!”
If anyone would like to read the first three chapters for free, I'll be glad to send you the link. It's available as a trade paperback, Nook, Kindle and I-Pad online.
Thanks for the introduction. Craig Faris
