Has anyone read Mist Over Pendle by Robert Neill? The synopsis of The Daylight Gate reads like a direct lift from his book, even the title is a line from the book. There is a discussion of Mist Over Pendle on GR. It makes me furious when an authors work is used for another writers gain whether it's the use of another's character, adaptation of the title or plot.

Of course the synopsis is similar they are both novels based upon the real events of the Pendle witch trials that took place in Lancashire in 1612.
