1) My favorite movie is "Life is Beautiful" in English or dubbed in wonderful, melodic Italian.
2) I always leave something as a bookmark unless I'm reading my Kindle, which does that for me.
3) I go quiet if I can. In the past I've told many "white lies", but they get gray and murky and turn dark at the slightest provocation. I lived a white lie once and will never do that again.

message 64: by Coco (new)

message 67: by Adri (new)

Adri (jadri7) | 76 comments Oops forgot to ask my 3 questions
1. What is your go to comfort food?
2. What book could you read over and over again and why?
3. What is one of your fav. Childhood memories?

message 68: by Adri (new)

Adri (jadri7) | 76 comments @ Chloe I couldn't get enough of goosebumps either!

message 69: by Maggie (new)

Maggie My favorite comfort food is peanut butter and fluff on white bread, yum yum!

I love the book Beautiful Disaster, I don't really know why, certainly not the best book out there but I just fell in love with it:)

I remember getting a box of 64 crayola crayons with a sharpener built into the box for Christmas one year, I was sooo excited!! All the colors, green blue, brick red, I was in heaven!

My questions are:
Do you have any pets?
What is your least favorite book and why?
What is your favorite summer activity?

message 70: by Melissa (new)

Melissa (missams) | 59 comments 1) Yes I do have a pet. I have a cat named Lincoln. I also take care of my brother's kitten name Singyn. My sisters have two cats: Jynx (or as my brother calls him Lokie) and Catniss. We have a turtle - shelly, two Guiniepigs - Moe and Angle, a parrot - Paco, and a dog named pearl.
2) I have a few books that I did not enjoy reading. But right now the one that is topping the list, mostly because it is recent is "Perfectly Dateless". I just felt that there was more that the author could have put into the story, and some of the events and changes of personality of characters seemed very unrealistic. Another book that I did not like was "Into the Wild." It just seemed pointless and the person who made those actions seemed like he needed help.
3) Favorite summer activity is reading, of course! Beyond reading, I love to camp. I enjoy being in the woods and away from everything.

My questions:
1) do you remember the first book you read? What is it?
2) What is one thing you like about reading?
3) What is one think you do not like about reading?

message 71: by Amber (new)

Amber | 9 comments 1) I have a faint memory of the first couple books I read and don't know which I had actually read on my own. It was either The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss or Mooch the Messy by Marjorie Weinman Sharmat. And I loved both. And the funny thing about Mooch the Messy is that it was my most favorite book at the time because as a kid I loved organizing my toys and cleaning more than playing with them!!
2) I love the creativity of the many different authors. I love getting absorbed into a book and falling in love with the different characters.
3)Hmm... tough. I guess it depends on the book. Sometimes I don't like too much detail when I am too excited for the ending, or when there isn't enough detail and it just ends... I like a good middle ground. ;)

My questions"
1) What is one movie you saw after reading a book and thought it was actually well done?
2) Do you ever stay up way later than you should have to get close to the end or finish a book?
3) Favorite place you have traveled and why?

message 72: by Adri (new)
