I picked it up on b&n for .99 too :)
I'll try to get to this on the weekend. I've read some really good reviews for it.

Chapter 5 I've read 3 NA books so far counting this one. And all three had an attractive bartender in a nightclub. A common theme? Or is it just me? Lol.
I'm only a few chapters in so I only have a first impression. I like Cam. And am interested to learn more about why she is so broken.
I loved the lines on depression. That there's so much pain it deadens everything else. I have never gone through anything like that myself. But it feels like the truth.

Haha I know right? :P But the good part starts at 50% :P
Andrew - not sure what chapter I'm on but if you don't know who this is my comments may be 'light' spoilers....
I feel so connected to Cam in this section. I have only been out of my state twice. Both times on road trips with the family. And it has always been a daydream of mine to just... leave. Not runaway or anything. Just go somewhere. Completely unplanned. Any where. Everywhere. I totally get this.
I am already in love with Andrew. And they have great chemistry so far. Liking this is not a case of instant love as well. It's an attraction right now.
I do not like the switching of pov characters and I hope it does not happen often. Especially when the book backtracks to show both. I would like no first person pov at all and get both sides at the same time. Or in the same chapter.
Another thing I do not care for. Why does every romance in young adult - or new adult - have to be between amazingly attractive characters. I'm not saying they need to be unattractive. But Andrew being a former model - sort of - made me roll my eyes.
I like it so far though. And wonder where Cam is going. And where she will take me. Oh --- and hey, she surprised me the hot bartender was not the love interest.

Finished -
Well. That was certainly a surprise. Both good and not-so-good. First the good- finally a young adult romance that is not only attraction. Cam and Andrew learn to trust, and only then do they learn to love. They are friends before they are lovers. And I loved this. I also liked and cared for the characters. But now for the not-so-good - (view spoiler) I am not the demographic here. And if I had read this at the right time in my life I probably would have loved it. I have read 5 (forgot one earlier) New Adult books and haven't liked one. I think it just isn't a genre for me.

I read this in January and I absolutely loved it! The ending literally made my heart stop, but it a good way! It was first of J.A.'s work for me, but definitely won't be the last!
I really have to get around to reading that one. It's been ranked up high for a long time. Love the cover too.
Let me just start by saying WOW!!! I have not stayed up till 230 am to read a book since the fever series! I'm gonna have a hard time waiting till nov 2 for book 2! Anyways... I love this book 5/5 stars! It was just the book I needed to get me out of my readers funk! The story line was great I absolutely loved the characters! And let me say she is not predictable and is a rely good writer! The chemistry between Camryn and Andrew from the start was great I love how connected to the characters you get, the attachment and the emotions from the writing! I also like how the author didn't make them jump each others bones the first time they met, she at least waited till they got to know each other a little bit better! I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a change In scenery or just wants to cry because this is that book, willed with humor, shocking moments, and just the right amount of sadness! That's it another book another day!
this was not the book for me. i rushed through it because it was so bad. i won't be reading the sequel though i hope Andrew and Camryn stay together. their sex scenes were hot lol

I actually just realized I never bothered to come comment, because I just didn't wanna think about this book anymore.
I think I've read worse, and there were parts I didn't completly hate, but I had a hard time with it. I also won't be returning for the sequel...I read the synopsis and I'm pretty sure I can predict what is going to happen...
Although a month late I finally read this book. This is my first New Adult novel and I really enjoyed it. I normally don't read contemporary stories, I more enjoy the paranormal/urban fantasy genre but I could not put this book down! The moral of the story was good overall and had me thinking about my own tendency to get too caught up in anxiety, fear of judgment, etc. to live every day to the fullest. It was quite a tearjerker with a Surprise ending! I am looking forward to the sequal when it comes out.
