Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives], Butts butts
(new)
I'm pretty sure I could run a mile in 20 minutes. I mean, just because SOMEBODY needs to take the job of the caboose during tennis drills.
Well, then I took a weightlifting class (my dad's idea) and my @&$# lifting partner dropped 135 pounds (plus bar) on my leg. >:| I didn't start running again until a month ago. It's truuuuuuuue!
Ouch! Ow ow ow! I can't imagine how that must have hurt. I hate lifting weights anyway.I just want to be able to read the topics again...
Yup. It slid, leaving a 4x1 inch gash on my calf that was maybe a half-inch deep. Severed an artery and I went into shock and started repeating, "My leg shouldn't do that" over and over and over again. And Savannah thought the story was funny. :D
I want to understand again too. But in the meantime, I'll visit other groups. :D
Well, that's probably what I'd be thinking, "my leg shouldn't do that."So are you a competitive runner?
No. I like running, but I'm not fast enough to compete. I placed in a neighborhood 5K with some fat guys, though. :DOne goal this summer is to win a local 5K, though. I ran about 3 miles today (2 and then 1), and I'm planning on running a whole 5K later this week.
I like running sometimes. I do this 5K on Mother'a Day with my mom and last yet I ran it in 29 minutes, but this year I want to train and beat that time.

You're faster than me, anyway.
