Novellas are always a nice palate cleanser, Okie:) I scored an ARC of Laura Griffin's upcoming book Exposed and devoured it yesterday! It was great. Lots of action and a really intense romance.
I'm still reading The Other Guy's Bride, since I was sick last week and then gone for Easter, I didn't get a whole lot of reading time in last week.

I'm still reading Manda's How to Entice an Earl (a GREAT end to the trilogy), and I'm starting Victoria Dahl's Too Hot to Handle.
I've been reading the new April Harlequin Superromances today. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's downloads--Darius by Grace Burrowes, Love Irresistibly by Julie James, It Had to Be You by Kate Noble, and Sweet Madness by Heather Snow.
Like Janga I'm waiting for tomorrow's releases including also the latest by Ruthie Knox, Thea Harrison, Christina brook and Julia Quinn.
I guess I should check out Heather Snow.

I've been out of town and was excited to get online this morning and find out about so many great new releases. I've already downloaded the latest by Ruthie Knox and am on my way out to get LOVE IRRESISTIBLY by Julie James.

I just finished Darius by Grace Burrowes. It's like a throwback to her first books. On the one hand, the development of the H and H relationship is wonderful and touching, in an emotionally complex situation. (I find this theme of husband seeks out man to impregnate wife a lot easier to imagine if I remember there were no sperm banks back then. )
On the other hand her plot has not 1 but 4 villains all unrelievedly and unbelievably evil acting in at least two separate groups and she forgets to tell us half the plot. Some of the plot she just tells us and doesn't show us. What is up with heros dad? Where does husband's natural son go and why? Why does hero set up a trust for heroines unborn child--his idea or husband's?
With a better editor she could write great books. As it is they are alluring but frustrating.

Just read Ruthie Knox new novella. Wow. Also, in the first person, which is not something I usually like.

I also read Serena Bell's novella, Ticket Home, from the same anthology. Very good second-chance-at-love story where no one's really right or wrong.

Erin, I read The Lady most likely last week and it is very good and very funny especially the uncle.
