I would like to abandon modesty and suggest my novel The After/Life. It is a post-apocalyptic adventure story sold on the Amazon website. All the proceeds from the sale are being donated to special care children's orphanage in Gyumri town of Armenia. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity!

Why not something cross-genre? An Indian girl is forced into an arranged marriage then widowed. She flees a widow's burning to find the father who has abandoned her.'RISING OF A DEAD MOON'
Average rating 4.64

The book is currently free to download too!
I love
by Leanne Hall. It is really good. I also love
by Eva Ibbotson. it is kinda childish, but I love it!

. It is a long book, but looks really interesting, and there is a TV series for it coming out in June." I have to go with this one or Silver Linings Playbook.
Maybe Botchan by natsume soseki, its so its such a light, funny book but sometimes a little shocking!
wow there are so many suggestions..! here are mine:1.See You at Harry's
2.Before I Fall
also the The Paris Wife and The Silver Linings Playbook sound good too!
Moreover The Sea of Tranquility def caught my eye!
If it's any kind of book then an Agatha Christie, I'd say Death on the Nile or Murder on the Orient Express...they're AMAZING!!! If it's YA then maybe Matched by Ally Condie :)

"Angelfall looks like a pretty good book."
I agree, I vote for Angelfall (it's already in my to-read list and this would give me a reason to get it) XD
Clockwork Angel or the Great Gatsby. I also saw suggestions for Lord of the Rings, The Paris Wife, and Silver Linings Playbook that I would definitely love to read/re-read. I love the list of suggestions - so many good choices to pick from.
OMG not scarlet just can't get into that series. how about 1984 since dystopias are big right now. I mean it is the grandfather of this genre
I nominate Lolita. I've had this on my shelves for a while but haven't got around to reading it yet!!
I loved Silver Linings Playbook - it's brilliant! So that gets my vote. I'd also be interested in The Paris Wife, Gone Girl and Looking for Alaska!
The timekeeper seems cool. Another on I haven read is hush hush. Also I'm just starting gone girl so if hat hasn't been read already I think it would be great. I'm pretty open. Just tell me what to read and I'll do it!
I think The Handmaid's Tale would be a great read.... its a more classic dystopian novel (from the 80's) and sounds really intriguing!
I suggest a short read, 38 pages. Available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle also on Barnes & Nobles. This is a childrens story. Not the ordinary childrens book you may find.

Mary wrote: "The Sea of Tranquility!!"I just bought this and would love an excuse to make time to read it!
Silver Linings Playbook is terrific. Though after a while I got kind of sick of the football play-by-plays.
Aliyah wrote: "Silver Linings Playbook is terrific. Though after a while I got kind of sick of the football play-by-plays."I thought the same thing. By the end I just kept thinking, "enough with the football!" Otherwise, I liked it a lot.
Kelly wrote: "Wool, under the dome, or the great gatsby."Heard great things about Wool and Under the Dome (I'm a King fan). I'd love either one!
Good recommendations!
I second The Great Gatsby! Been wanting to re-read it before the new movie comes out. When will the poll go up?
I'd like to second
. I really want to read this book, but for some reason I find other books to read always. I think I need a reason to read it. God that does sounds sad now that I think about it, but it does look good. It's about the 20s & 30s & I love that time period. If it's a no go, has anyone else in this group read and it can propel me to read it ASAP, please?
