I'm looking for a book but I don't know the name or the author of it. Its about a man who is in a false coma. Who is conscious and aware of everything that's happening to him. But he is unable to do anything about it. Everyone thinks he is in a coma including his wife and children. Because he has been misdiagnosed by doctors. And most people don't believe he's going to wake up from his "coma." If anyone knows the name or the author please let me know.

I believe it was a small book with a hardcover that I saw although the cover could always change I guess.
The cover I think was green and the book was a short literary novel.

The book I am looking for was very similar to this. But I am almost 100% sure it was fiction not a memoir. Although now I know about this one I might just read this.

Here's the Wikipedia page on Locked-In Syndrome: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locked-i...
I learned about the syndrome by reading Locked In, one of Marcia Muller's Sharon McCone novels, which isn't your book but does appear in the list of books in the Wikipedia article. Hope it helps!
Just looked back at the Google list, and another link says it's also called "pseudocoma".
