Shaun Horton | 27 comments Basically, where have you made profiles and what have you found to actually be useful? I'm on:

Facebook (as an author page)
Twitter
Blogspot
Youtube
Goodreads

I've heard a fair bit about Linkedin but it seems to me to be more for business purposes than anything else and not so much for people wanting to reach out to a community. So again, the question is, where do you have profiles, and what would you recommend to other people?

Pauline | 11 comments Have you done an Amazon author page too?
I'm also on Pinterest and Wattpad, although really, it's too early to say what's working best for me.
Oh, and I have my own blog too, with email sign up.
The accepted wisdom is that Pinterest might be worth doing if your target demographic is heavily female, aged maybe 20-50 (but don't quote me on that). And since my book is full of food and British places, those are great things to pin!

Shaun Horton | 27 comments I actually did an Amazon author page just this week with the release of my first book. So yes, I have that covered too, now.

My # 1 resource besides my blog is Goodreads.
2 FB
3 Twitter
4 Google+
5 Linkedin
6 all others

Hope this helps.
