Books We'd Like to Read

I wanted to ask advice - is City of Bones any good? I ask because the movie is coming out. Normally I try to read the book before, but I've recently tried both Warm Bodies (which is good, but makes a better film) and Beautiful Creatures (which stinks in ways you can't redesigning spoilers).

I quite enjoyed it. There are some very interesting and shocking plot twists, which are worth waiting for. I must admit that although I didn't get into it at the beginning it got better as it went through. I prefer the Clockwork Angel series by Clare but as the film is coming out I would say it is worth reading.

I have given it a go, review below. I agree about the twists, but I think it isn't entirely consistent in them.

I think for books to read, perhaps it would be better to have 1 of the 2 be an older book that's been out a while - it would increase the chance some people have already got an opinion on it.
