Hi Teammates!!!!!!!! I am off today and it is super cold outside and SNOWING. So my plans are to get my few little chores done,start my laundry, catch up on GR and then READ READ READ!!!! I finished another book in the wee hours of the morning and I will be adding it as soon as I get done posting this ☺☺☺☺GOOOOOOOOO TANGIES!!! Keep reading those good books!!! Are we in the lead? I just checked the spreadsheet and seems that our team is the only team that has reached 2%.P.S.I finished my 4th book.
I have a silly question.For winning, do we have to reach 1350 books? because that's not possible ,our goal is 1210 so it doesn't seem fair.
or do we have to read 1210 books to win?
I don't know what we're reading to. That's a good question, ShoSho. I just finished my Stephanie Laurens book and will finish my anthology tonight :)

We are reading to 1350, there have been some unexpected goal changes I'm trying to sort out but, if the goals are staying the same, we'll maybe get a new member or two.

Claire and I are discussing several options to raise your anticipated goal to 1,350.
First, though, Kme_17 has lowered her goal and we need to know why? Was it due to Real Life situations? Or was it the whole "adjusting due to only 3/4 of the year left" thing? - which we do NOT want members to do.
Second, one member is thinking of raising their goal. Third, you might gain new members, if I put those recently requested on your Team. All the books they are reading now, and have FINISHED since April 12th will count.
In addition, we Mods are debating weather to decrease the goal to the 850-875-900 range in order to finish before the Christmas craziness. Or possibly upping it to 1414 and really continue the challenge until April 14, 2014.
Decisions, decisions. But, we'll keep you posted. ☺

I want to start reading Love in the Irish Mist for another challenge and I can't find the page number, I got it as a freebie from Amazon but I can't find it there any more. I only know it's about 2770 locations on my kindle.abnegation should I do?

I'm done with that book, love in the Irish mist. I didn't add it to this challenge list I'm not sure about the page numbers, it felt much much longer than 160 pages. If you have any solutions let me know

Sorry it's a short post, I was out on shift last night til 2 and I'm off again in half an hour for another shift so I'm just starting to function over my morning cup of tea :)!!
I did some crazy calculation and came up with word count of 46,050. I don't know how correct is that

Yes it's not on Amazon anymore, I can't find it anywhere. Just deleted and downloaded it on my kindle application, it says 230k, with the rule of the mods are using it's less than 160 pages:(
You said it had 2770 kindle locations, ShoSho? I read a Harlequin last night that has 2579 and is listed at 192 pages.

Morning everyone! I hope your Saturday is going great (or was great in ShoSho's case lol). My Hubs came home last night so I have extra laundry to do today and my head kind of hurts. We're going see Blood Brothers tonight at the community college. One of our daughter is in it :)

Hi Everyone!!! :( Has not been a good couple of days for me. As some of you know, I have been sick with a virus for about a month now. I still haven't got my voice back and have had some other issues along the way. After being out of work for two weeks I finally got to go back to work on Tuesday. WELLLLLLL.... I worked Tues & Wed was off on Thursday. Yesterday I had to call in to work because I got up and my eyes were swollen shut and I had a horrible headache across my forehead :( From forehead down to my upper lip was all swollen and I have a BIG nasty fever blister on my lip :( This morning I got up and the headache is still there, minimal swelling and my stomach is giving me fits :( :( :( :( So needless to say, with the stomach issues I had to call in to work AGAIN today :(
**sighs & cries & yells** I just want to get BETTER!!!!
I am still trying to read even with this headache which kind of eases up if I lay down or sit still. I hope you all are having MUCH better days than me LOL

Awww Robin. I hate that you're not feeling good again. My slight headache has increased even though I've taken meds. I'll need a nap before the play tonight. I'm reading

Well, they DON'T
If a team has 12 members and only 4 want to participate, that team can still earn all the points available.
We'll consider that team a team of FOUR elements to the Read-a-Thon only.
