It was good, Lisa Kay. His speech kind of distracted me, but in all honesty, it was probably correct since Santo was Italian and speaking English, so he probably would phrase things differently from me ;)
Hi Friends!!!I am hanging in there; resting and taking my medicines LOL
I am trying to get some reading done and making a little head way.
In the next post is what I am working on for the 7% challenge :) Got one completed!!! I will continue to update that thread as I complete books.
I did #40 . I leave #41 for one of you , it's not my speciality :DI finished
for Blue coverand
for behind enemy lines ! Vi from moonstone finished it before me . How are we going to this? It's going to be really hard to organize what everyone is reading into categories
Thanks ShoSho! I ended up late in the lab but tonight I'll go through what we've read and where it'll fit and see what we've got so far. I've set up a thread in the sister group to do that, just haven't had time to update it!
Finished
which as ShoSho pointed out, fits the Behind Enemy Lines cause Vi from moonstone read it :)
Great! I've read a Behind Enemy Lines one too, we might be halfway through the category soon :) I'll check tonight
@ Oo, a reading Faceoff? Have I missed something? Or are you talking about the 7% challenge?Don't forget, we're the original reading ninjas ;)
Vi wrote: "Not fair! :)ShoSho wrote: "2 reasons, i was savouring it and then RL got in the way!""
Sorry Vi , I'll finish sooner next time ;)
Finished
it was ok, didn't enjoy it much until the last 10% or so (it was on my kindle!) but it fits for the 7% challenge.Talking about the 7% challenge, I've updated the posts in the thread in the sister group, decided the spreadsheet was too confusing! I've not put anything in a definite category yet, thought I'd get to the end of the first week and see how things look then.
Wow thanks Claire , I just saw it , a great way to do it.I didn't comment there so it wouldn't be confusing .

Oh, feel free :) Comment where ever you like :) Now I have a post for each of us, add any comments/books/anything else you fancy to it :)
The sister site looks good with the way you did it :) except, I'm the one who read Heart of Obsidian, not Cathie ;)

Haha!! Sounds like a lot of fun :)
Well it is true that Oo is ahead already with 1 (yes, just 1!) completed book, I am on the mend and getting ready to kick her reading butt. bwahahaha.I have been really sick for the last week or so; migraine and sinus and not able to stand light, sound, etc., so my reading has been extremely curtailed.
I am on the mend now and will jumpstart my participation in all challenges, bwahahaha.
I only finished one book this week, for the challenge, when my eyes could focus (and this doesn't count towards Oos challenge).
The Knock at the Door: A Mother's Survival of the Armenian Genocide
. I would recommend it to anyone. 5 stars. Will figure out later, with Captain's help, where it fits in.
And it's working; I have sent her (Oo) off on a wild goose chase, looking for words and phrases...which means she isn't reading....
toppling refers to stacks of books, not books all in a row...you have to have something to topple (hands on hips, sticks tongue out right back at ya, and wiggles butt as she walks away with books in hands)
This is brilliant, you guys have just cheered me up again! Had a good day til I ended up in the lab til half 8 this evening, got in and read this and I'm smiling again :)I'll possibly get quite a bit of reading done tomorrow, going to first aid at a 'bed race' and it's a bit of a drive and I'm not driving :)
Smile Claire! You have to laugh; it's a definite daily :-).I'm glad your loooong day is over and you can relax now :-)
Cathie as much as I love reading books with you, I am sure Oo can win this one
not that I'm a biased LJB member or anything...

I tried to find an image of a cool chick on a bike with a great black leather jacket riding over a tangerine (because surely doesn't the internet have a photo for everything??!!).
I came up with this, I figure it is close enough if you can use your imagination for what I intended.. bwaahahaha

Nice bike Karen :)Cathie, I know, laughing's definitely a must. Hope I'll do a fair bit today, the description my Dad gave of the bed race was 'madness'!!!
Oh, and I'll update the spreadsheet and sister group thread later when I get in.I finished
last night which fits somewhere and
which I think is much too short to count.
Atomic Tangerine-ette is concentrating on books...fiercely concentrating on whooping some black leather a**
I finished
this morni g which is perfect for the May mini r-a-t category cause it's green and has flowers :)
I finished
. Good book ~ 4 stars. It's now 3 am (I couldn't not finish the book, lol) so I'm going to get some sleep. zzzzzzzz
ShoSho wrote: "I finished
, I don't know where it fits yet."That one was on my old plans to read. It fits #1
Dagna from Bedazzled Blue has read it.
Feel free to read which ever you want Robin. I'm sorry if I've messed up your reading plan :( We could always do Behind Enemy Lines twice, if we get enough books?
Claire wrote: "Feel free to read which ever you want Robin. I'm sorry if I've messed up your reading plan :( We could always do Behind Enemy Lines twice, if we get enough books?"It's not your fault. I was just confused about what I was supposed to doing :) I just planned out books for specific tasks that I knew I could get read. LOL I am just wondering around in a daze these days. Just over look me LOL I am blaming it on the medicine :)
I'll try and update the posts in the sister group when I get in and I've finished my spreadsheets for work tonight but I have a training meeting first!! I apologise in advance, I think this week's going to be a bit busy but I'll be home all day on Thursday so I'll catch on anything I need to then :)
