As you can see from the post above, we managed to jump up one place and finish 9th.That's great thing actually. Last few days there was pretty bloody battle going on between us, Forest Green and Mauvelous. And we came out victorious! Yay! Don't worry, all your scars will heal with time. ☺
You, ladies, make me proud to be a Hobbit. ☺
Borrowed this from another team... :DModerators of Nothing but Reading Challenges (All the Mods) wrote: "Several Teams are going to continue on until they reach 1,350. The Mods have agreed to do an update once a month until April, instead of every week. (Needless to say, there will be much less pressure.) So, feel free to continue to 'tag' your books."
What do you think? Want to finish it?
Steven wrote: "Congrats for moving up at the finish! That's a great feeling! Proud of my hobbitses!!!"Thanks ☺
And we didn't even have to use 'the ring'! :P

Continuing on with the TTRC...
For those of you who want to finish what you started, we are leaving the Tower Team Reading Challenges threads, the "sister group," and Team Home Page Challenges open.
Some of you want to finish your Team Mini Challenges for November; some want to see what they can do towards reaching 1,350 (with or without BAPs); others want to go until the end of the year; and die-hards want to go until April, 2014!
Whatever you decide, as an individual Team or Team Member basis, is completely up to you. Even if you are the only Team Member interested in continuing, we're sure the other Teams will interact with you.
We, the Mods and Captain Paige, will do an informal update once a month.
Whatever you decided, remember to have fun! There will be much less pressure, definitely.
As far as Round III, we do NOT know when it will start, but it will NOT be in January. For the next Team Challenge, the other Mods want to do some type of board game that will last anywhere from one to several months.
I am staying for the april goal still 2014- april.Jenny/towers team 2…CERULEAN AKA HOBBIT BLUE 2014…JENNY
I also am continuing to tag my books (Will be finishing at end of December though) and also am playing the mini challenge for November. :D
Great. I'm also still tagging, but I'll move some of my books from read shelf to their appropriate shelf. That won't mean anything for challenge, just info if anyone is checking books. :PI'll keep post #4 updated then with our stats.
Turtlecollector wrote: "I am curious to see if we can make the 1350 goal."I'm sure we can. Question is when :D

Melissa you can change your goal if you want. Now it's not a problem any more. :D
I keep reading wrong books so my November challenge is little stalling :P

I am a little behind on my November challenge too, but I have Thurs and Fri off at Thanksgiving with no family to interrupt so I should be able to get several books read for it even if they don't fit my other challenges.
Ezinwanyi~For you, Agron wrote: "I had stop tagging, but I can start back if you guys want me too"It's your decision.
I continued tagging because I wanted to see how long it'll take me to reach my goal. And with that maybe to better figure my goal for next round. Especially since my current goal is third change, I think.
I was changing my goal when we needed to fix numbers for team goal at the beginning of the challenge (if somebody increased or lowered theirs). My original was 160 (I think).
Melissa (ladybug) wrote: "Does anyone here use a spreadsheet to track challenges they participate in or books read/reading?"I have only one of challenges in spreadsheet and only because I need to track points I've earned. Even for that main tracking (plans to read, read books for each task,...) is done in thread here on GR. Spreadsheet is used only for counting :D
I've started tracking challenges in one of those 'members challenges' part of another group. When number of challenge became to big (and I got too lazy to scroll through old ones), I've created group where I do that now.
Melissa (ladybug) wrote: "Does anyone here use a spreadsheet to track challenges they participate in or books read/reading?"I have a spreadsheet on excel
I have an excel spreadsheet, but I am thinking of using Google docs next year to see if that is easier. I can access that from any computer and not just my laptop.
@turtlecollector and Ezinwanyi, is there maybe way I could see examples of how you do it? I was wanting to try it for a way to keep track of my challenges. We lose internet easy during winters here and wanted something to just have on computer or even print out for those days. I would appreciate any help you could offer.

LOL I also have private group to keep track online. I am looking into possibilities for times we lose internet, so thought I would ask. :) I am not very creative lol.
