I might require a shove as well :D

@Sonia, what book with Dresden is there a romance? I'm not talking about just sex, but a romance..

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments It picks up on 2.

But Ezi, Dresden doesn't seems like your type. Too dark, gritty and no HEA

And when I said BDB, I was talking about Rhage's deal with the virgin goddess to save Mary. Or Z's determination to save Bella. Can't say more because I haven't read the rest

*runs for cover*

And specially, the love conquers all, HEA. There is no such thing in dresden.

Ezi Chinny (ezinwanyi) You know me so well Sonia. I need Hea or HFN, and so unfortunately, I must give Spike, I mean Harry a kiss goodbye.

@tea: are we saving The Witness for next month or listening to it this weekend? It has great reviews.

Is just because I'm still at the same page from Lover Awakened (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #3) by J.R. Ward for a few months when I was supposed to get through the series same said months :)

I'm good this weekend if that doesn't mess with your plans :P

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments I can separate '2 books in one' into each book and count them as two books right? I think I am going to switch my books on a challenge in another group so I don't have to read nonfiction and read these instead to give us more books for the September challenge.

One in a Million: One in a Million\A Dad for Her Twins and Informed Risk & A Hero for Sophie Jones

I think this might become the month I have read the most books ever in.

If there is separate edition on GR and big enough (>160 pg), sure. Who can know what edition you really read? ☺

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments This computer at work doesn't like to display spreadsheets very well. Are we still missing any puzzles that aren't sliders? I really hate those. I have done 158 but will have to wait until I get home to email it in.

OK, I'll post sliders.

Edit: Done :P

message 1628: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9624 comments I've finished another book. I'll work on adding it to challenges and spreadsheet tomorrow (if you don't beat me to it :P). I'm going to bed now, and not because it's late (it's Sunday here :P) but because I'm freezing.

Do you by any chance know a good book with Jack in it? :P

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments Jack as a character?

I really liked listening to Room by Emma Donoghue which has a child named Jack as a main character. The CDs had different people reading with the characters and made a stronger impact than just reading it I think. It is told from the child's perspective. Another book that might make Ezi cry? Or maybe just really mad?

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments Congratulations to Tea for reaching 100 books!

Got to yours first, but I am sure you will get to the ones I finish tonight before I do tomorrow. :P I think I can still get 2 more finished tonight if I get off GR right now. Then I have 5 to finish on Sun and Mon. I think I can...I think I can...I think I can...

2 yr old has strepthroat. This week with sick kids has Been horrible for reading. I hope all these stupid viruses go away and my kiddos are getting back to running around the house.

Tea: I can start our book tomorrow (Monday 9/30) but it might be better to start it Oct 1st to use it for Halloween Hobbit challenge ...what do you think?

I hope your kids feel better soon. I hate strep throat. I once got it two years in a row around Christmas-time. At least your kid is still little enough to have liquid medicine. I don't understand why, as adults, they expect us to want to swallow huge pills when it hurts just to swallow water.

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9624 comments Those are kiddie movies?! Well, I do always feel like kid when I'm watching them. :P
I watched Despicable Me the other day. I loved it. I have no idea what took me so long to see it.

Speaking of Nemo, on one of geology classes teacher brought it to show us how reef looks like to give us idea about 'wildlife' and what will become part of rocks later. So she was like, she watched great movie with her kid yesterday and she though it would be great to show it to us. She just needs to find the right part of it (when Nemo goes to school), but, dang it she lost where it was. She starts fast-forwarding it and at right moment whole class (ok it was 10 of us) yells stop! I'm not sure what shocked her most, that we saw that movie or that we knew exactly what part she's looking for. We ended up watching whole movie. :P
Too bad that other teacher didn't bring Ice Age when we were learning about ice age. :P

Good job TC. You are cranking them out. I'm going to read 2 more and I'm off to see about my Oct Starter Plan

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments 4 of those came from 2-in-1 books I split up into their separate books. Plus, I have mostly been staying away from GR yesterday and today since we are having a huge windy rainstorm for the past two days and I don't feel like going outside to get back and forth between where I am dogsitting/housesitting and the wifi at my house, which gives me a lot more time for reading. Not many of the distractions(cleaning, craft room, wifi, games, etc.) I would have at my own house exist where I am dogsitting.
