Jenny, there is no need to post covers just because they show something or are certain color. Only books you have read can count for challenge.
Could you please post only books you've finished reading.
It's little confusing to us who are trying to track books for challenge.

Since there are different page numbers for those from edition to edition and some of them have pictures, Mods decided to go with word count for them. If you are planning to read one of those, be sure to post first in page thread. Or post here and will ask there. ☺

ok, just checking after the comment I saw on the page numbers thread. I've read one but the author's difficult to find a word count for and due to the shorter chapters there was a lot more white space than the other books of hers I've read so I just put it on my read shelf.

Do I still have to check if it's got a word count over 40k?

TC, I am confused! how come we have a "0" in the following Categories (2,4,5)/Columns C,E,F. What does that mean?

Also, I am almost done with . How many more pink books are we lacking?

I haven't had time to submit those categories yet for confirmation by the mods.(one is category 2 which is the pink covers) When they confirm they are completed those columns will have a 1 in them.

When you are finished with your book that will be the last pink book we need to complete the challenge. If you read more this month or up to July 19th, we can repeat categories for cupcakes up to 5 more cupcakes.

Welcome back Karen, I hope you and your grandmother are feeling well.

We have finished the 7% challenge, and the mods have given us the option of spending the rest if the challenge repeating a maximum of five categories for cupcakes.

The mods have also been discussing page count eligibility, whether books (mainly childrens) with a low word count but high enough page count (160 pages +).

The team have been thinking up challenge ideas for the August challenge, which the mods challenged us to create. At the moment, we are leaning towards Scattegories

As another piece of news, we have reached our 1000th post! :D

What Jojiwoji missed to tell you, we Hobbits have inner team game based on page numbers (ending in a week) For every book 160-250 pg you get 10pt, 251-500 1 pt and over 501 5 pt. According to spreadsheet yours truly is currently in the lead (I have no idea how that happened! Probably not all books are put in yet ☺)

As for that August challenge - Mods have decided to go on vacation so we need to come up with something to get us bonus books (thing is we need to read 75 books as team to finish challenge). If you have any ideas, we are listening. (That goes for rest of Hobbits too!)

If you're bored and sick of reading (like that can happen!), there is Captain Cupcake's Hideout where you can earn us some cupcakes (which can be switched for books in challenges ☺ - not that we needed that so far ☺)
