Looking for some assistant moderators! (Welcome Cindy, and Kathy)

Hey all,
With two toddlers and a baby, my life is a little hectic right now, and I hate when I fall behind with our book group, so I am looking for a few people who would be interested in helping out as assistant moderators. I need one person for each of the following areas:
#1: Games, challenges, and misc. discussions
#2: Old School Classics: Set up the nomination threads and polls as well as help to facilitate discussion
#3: Contemporary Classics: Same responsibility as above
#4: Re-Visit the shelf: Same responsibilities as above, only you need to make sure that the nominations are from our bookshelf
I will continue to be the moderator for the group, but hopefully with the extra help, we will see more participation. Our group has a lot of members, so there is no reason that we shouldn't be having lots of discussions.
If you are interested in helping out in any of these areas, please let me know, it's first come first serve!

As the new Revisit the Shelf mod --- Do we need to choose a book for May or June? I seem to remember that it is every other month for a new selection?

Hi Kathy,
I think we will let The Three Musketeers run for the rest of April, and then set up nominations/polls for May. We usually choose a book either every month or every other month depending on the length. Thanks so much for helping out!!

ok is there a certain date we usually pt up a thread for suggestions and than a poll to decide?

I try for mid-month, that way there is a week for nominations and then a week to vote on the polls.
