We are going to start having challenges called Pick Me A Winner. They are monthly and only require you to read one book.

What if I use this challenge just so I can have someone pick my next book to read? But the books are not free.

well, I guess the "free" part was just in hopes for me to get through some of my free books

Honestly, You can put whatever books you choose on your shelf ;P

Sure! It just says free books because a ton of us have so many books we haven't gotten around to reading yet!

So yeah, include all of your free books, books you've had for a while but haven't read yet, books from library, books you borrowed or got as presents!

Just make a shelf and call it pick me a winner, or something along those lines :D

My question is if I get money for my birthday or Christmas and then buy books for my nook with that money, would they be ok for this challenge?

I just want to be sure I understand the rules. :)

I always buy books for my nook with money I get as a gift. And there are a lot of them I haven't read yet, some I've bought and some that are free. :)

I have a lot of free books (thanks for the link sharing), but most of them are not on my shelf :) I only add the ones that I truly want to read.

lol! Mine are almost all free or gifted.
I just have to get through some of these! LOL

yes, exactly! You make a shelf of books you've been meaning to get to (my shelf is all my free books! LOL!) - and the list can be as big or as small as you want!

for the most part, I do too!
I was surprised! My library even expanded it's ebook selection and has started to get the .5 books that come inbetween in series!

I'm a huge fan of libraries! Well, you can always finish your shelf a day or two before the challenge starts to what you currently have on checked out from the library. :) that might make it easier :)

I just wasn't sure if I'd be packing/moving on the 15, which is when this current challenge ends....and just didn't want to drop the ball for picking and assigning.

I went with a theme. I think I chose scary ones...
and I kept I think 2 cute ones.
next time I think I'll pick a new theme and just sort through my freebies and pick

Mine are all very random. I have tried to remove some so it isn't a huge list. I am down to 66 books.
