Sounds of people talking were heard as well as the shuffling of steps, and soon the door opened. Emma stood there with her sketch book in hand, as well as a pencil, a camera, and a binocular. She had the binoculars around her neck and the other objects in her hands.

"Bonjour~!" She greeted. "See, Francis! I told you there'd be supervision! Now adieu~" She called back into the house.

"I see you had more trouble than me getting permission to go?" AJ asked her friend.

"Alas, but Francis trusts me still~" Emma gave a soft smile and stepped out of the house, shutting the door behind her.

AJ grinned, "At least he trusts you enough to go out with this one." She pointed to Nick back who was just behind her.

"He doesn't know it Nick. He just trusts that I won't go with someone really stupid. He said someone like Arthur," Emma said, smiling a little. "He says Arthur's really stupid and his eyebrows will hold me hostage if I come near him. I know frére's just being silly."

AJ burst out laughing, "That's what he said?!? Oh my gosh, that's histerical!"

Emma let a few giggles escape as he remembered the scene. "Oui, oui~ He kept lecturing me on why I should stay away from him unless I wanted 'a curse to be set upon my soul'; I was so glad when you showed up~"

AJ's laugh turned into soft giggles, "He can do that you know, but he'll do that only if he gives you a reason. I can do some of that, but he won't teach me the powerful stuff untill I get older."

Emma nodded. "I know~ Now, anyways, where are we going to go? Near the big lake or the cave or...?"

AJ thought for a second, "The lake, it'll be easier to find pokemon if we're near their water source."

Emma nodded her head and started to walk faster as they approached the forest. "I wonder what Pokemon we'll see!"

AJ grinned, "Me too, I know I'll probably specialize in water pokemon, but still, how amazing would it be to see more than you average magicarp?"

"Exactly! That's why I was so excited when I saw that Natu this morning! I like fire types, though. And ghost types scare me...." Emma agreed, but her voice faded with the wind at the end.

"Eh, I doubt we'll see any here," AJ replied, "We don't even have any ghost pokemon in the area."

"Let's hope..." Emma replied nervously as they entered the forest.

"Yo, where are we going again?" Nick's voice was heard from in front of the, and he looked over his shoulder to see the two.

"To the Lake!" AJ yelled back and picked up her pace so they didn't get left behind.

"Beat'cha to it!" Nick exclaimed and without warning, started to run to the lake.

AJ rolled her eyes and started to run after, "Bet you can't!"

"H-Hey! Wait up!" Emma called after the racing two, helplessly trying to best to keep up, but she wasn't as fast. Soon, she found herself alone, but thankfully she at least knew the direction of the lake.

New York raced to the edge of the Lake ready to trip Nick when he came running.

Nick was clueless to AJ's plan, but noticed that they were kind of like on a hill. And there's only one sensible way to go down a hill. To roll.

AJ watched Nick roll towards her, completely confused, this was why she didn't understand her brother.

"Incomiiiiiiing!" Nick yelled as he came rolling towards her. He was so confused, though. Why wasn't she rolling down too? See, this is why he didn't understand her sometimes.
