The Pool

Selena walked into the pool area with her sister, smiling just about

[MJ]

Wen sighed and took off her shoes, jumping into the water. She smiled as she watched her legs mold together and turn into a scaly tail, she swished it up and down, then looked to her sister.

Selene followed after her, smiling as her tail formed, much better. She instantly started to swim around

[MJ]

Wren took a deep breath and submerged herself under the water, she could feel herself growing gills and smiled brightly. She loved water, and her mermaid form, it helped her relax, and feel better. She swished her tail around and swam some lengths of the pool.

Selena stayed under water until she felt her gills, then swam all over the pool, swirling like a dolphin and dancing in a silly way

Wren saw her sister and rolled her eyes, but not too much, since she already felt so much better. She kept swimming around, doing small flips and such, swishing her tail up and down calmly.

"Wren, watch this!" Selena called, but when they were under water, it was more of a mind thing... She swam in vertical circles, grinning

Wren rolled her eyes again. "Congratulations, you just looked like an idiot! Anyone can do that, Selena. Anyone."

"Lets see it then" Selena said

[MJ]

Wren looked at her sister, blinked, then sighed. She started swimming in vertical circles with only a bit of trouble, then smirked and looked at her sister. "Told you."

"Yours were sort of choppy, actually" Selena said

Wren raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really? I don't think they were, baby sister."

"They were, bossy big brat" Selena crossed her arms

[MJ]

Wren frowned and closed her eyes, then got out of the pool and dug into her pocket, she needed a smoke. She pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter, and did her thing, taking a deep breath in, and out. Much better.

"Wren! Don't you remember what I said about those things!"

[MJ]

Wren raised an eyebrow and took it out momentarily. "What did you say, baby sister? That they're full of shit and they're going to kill me? You're right. But I don't care." She put it back into her mouth and inhaled, exhaled.

"Wren, you neeeeedddd to care!"

[MJ]

Wren took the cigarette out of her mouth again and glared at her sister. "I should, but I don't, Selena. It's my life, my body, my health. Not yours. Shut up."

"But I care about you sis, so I need to make sure you don't hurt yourself or anything" Selena said thoughtfully

[MJ]

"It's not going to be me who's getting hurt if you don't shut up, Selena. Leave me alone. I'm done, anyway." She took out the cigarette, threw it on the ground, and stomped on it. "There."

"That doesn't make it any better..." She pouted

Wren shook her head. "Whatever. I'm done for the day, alright?" She rolled her eyes. She walked over and sat at the edge of the pool, dipping her feet in.

Selena swam back and forth in the pool "I LOOOOVVVEEEE you SIIISSSSSYYY"

Wren looked at her sister with raised eyebrows, then made a gun formation with her fingers and pretended to shoot herself. "You belong in a mental ward."

Jake walked inside, it took a moment for him to realize that there were two girls inside. But he didn't see there fins. He smiled at both of them before sitting down on one of the chairs.

Selena swam back and forth "I do not, wren! I'm not crazy, I'm just funner than you. Funner. Is funner even a word???" She asked herself, grinning and waving at the new guy that came in

Jake tried to hide his grin but, he was failing at it.He nodded his head toward her.

"What's your name?" Selena called to him, doing a flip above water, her scales shimmering in the light

"Jake"

[[deleted user]]

"and yours.

[MJ]

Wren chuckled. "No, it is not, Selena. The proper thing to say would have been 'more fun,' which is a complete lie, because you need to lighten up and let loose a little bit. Live."

"I do live! I live without all the crappy stuff! I live with less sadness that you!" She chirped, then looked to the boy "I'm Selena, and the list with purple hair is my sister wren"

"It is a pleasure to meet you Selena , and Wren." said Jake.

"Don't lie jack, I know wren isn't fun to meet. You don't need to be nice to her." She said teasingly

[MJ]

Wren looked to the kid. He wasn't bad looking, but he wasn't hot, either. "Hey, Jake." She grinned, then looked back to her sister. "Crappy stuff is part of life."

"No, honestly. You two are the first people I have got to talk to."

"I will be back I am going to get my swimsuit be back, I promise." Jake said

"Okay! Byeeee!" Selena called

Jake leaves the room in a little hurry.

Selena swam around in circles, shed never get bored of the water

Wren grinned devilishly once he left. "Let's play a prank on Jake! Any suggestions?" She smiled and glanced over to where he had sat.

"But he's nice, we shouldn't do anything mean..." Selena said guiltily

Jake walked back in acting a little shy before diving into the pool being carful to not hit Selena. "Is this pool taken?" he jocked with a smile.

"Why yes it is" Selena teased "JUST KIDDING, I'll let you in" she smiled and swam around

Jake slipped in and swam while he swimed past Selena and flashed a smile towards her.

"So, jake. You can tell I'm a mermaid. What're you?" Selena asked curiously

Wren raised an eyebrow towards the two, any dolt with half a brain cold notice the looks Jake was giving her sister. "Hey, Sel, Jake, let's play truth or dare."

"Um... Well if your up for it Selena I will" Jake said

[[deleted user]]

"Bring it!!!" Selena grinned
