I'm done and I really liked it, it still had long and boring sex scenes but the story was pretty good. No daybed at all. I'm waiting for you to finish it so we can discuss it

Just finished ch 12. Why don't these men state their intentions? He may know he wants to marry her, but she's clueless. And what's worse is he knows she doesn't know his exact motive. I hope he asks soon. And I hope she's not stupid enough to say no ;)

Here I am! :)I'm only at like ch. 3 right now, but going to try and catch up by the weekend. I am liking it so far though, the change in setting is nice, and also I like her running the inn, whether it's realistic or not. So far so good, and I'm actually looking forward to reading more of this one. Might even try to not skim the sex scenes like the last couple of these books ;)
Hey Kit! I like her running the inn too. She's doing a great job of it. But if I read her referring to her "Colyton self" one more time I may scream!
Colyton self Gah I had the same feeling, it's like she's talking about someone else . It reminded me of fifty books " my inner goddess" ughh

Finished this tonight. It seemed a little different than the ones we've read before. Jonas was different from the Cynster men. It was nice. And I loved the treasure hunt plot and the fact that (view spoiler)
It was different. I liked that they weren't sneaking around and having sex in weird places .I didn't think (view spoiler)
The relationship between Em , Issy , Henry and the twins wasn't developed . I wish there was some evidence showing they were close , some conversation between them .
I didn't think they would either - in reference to your spoiler, ShoSho. I also wish there would have been more interaction between the siblings. I wonder if Henry will get a book later?
I was wondering same about Henry, thinking maybe he'd get hooked with one of the younger generation of Cynsters and co. coming up eventually the author was talking about. Like Devil's kids, etc. I'm still not very far in, only ch. 5 so far, but it's still good. I have nothing to do but stay home and read today and wait for the truck to come with the big dumpster for clearing out the house. May sound weird but I'm excited for the darn thing to get here, it means we're one step closer to gettin' out of here and moving to someplace new, though we haven't figured the where of that part out yet... :)
I'm liking Em and Issy, but I don't know if I'm liking the instantaneous 'never felt this way before in my life' feelings everyone's getting. It's kinda too easy, too matchy-matchy. I think it'd be better if Jonas wasn't all eager to paw at her right away like I'm seeing it. And her being all overcome when he touches her, losing all thought and stuff.

Yeah. I cracked up when he thought that he was glad she didn't smile when they first started talking cause he wouldn't have been able to remember what he was saying :)

What do you mean by clearing the house? Are you getting rid of your stuff by throwing them out?
Well there's crap in the basement that my guy's brother and them left behind from when they lived here, and crap upstairs that the p.i.t.a step-son left when he moved, and a barn full of broken and useless stuff (like one of those old 1980s Apple computers and a broken tv, etc) Plus garbage of the usual variety backed up from losing our trash service a few weeks ago. And yea, we're supposed to be weeding through our stuff too to lighten the moving burden, but things that are still good are going to the yard sale boxes for this summer. I can't wait, I've been dying to move for a few years now :D

If we don't use regularly or buy a new one, the old one depending on the it's value either goes on eBay,Gumtree to be sold or goes to salvation army store or straight to the bin,nothing goes in the garage just in case we might need it later. Still there are stuff around our house that are not being used but we try to keep it to a minimum, it'll make moving easier .not that I'm going to move anytime soon
Lol, that sounds like a good plan :)I'm at ch. 15 just about. Skipped a long kissing scene... seriously it was like 4 pages, just for one kiss. Also skimmed through the sex. Have decided I just can't stand her way of wording them, too flowery or something for me. Still enjoying the story, though I'm not too fond of how he's kinda in love (unadmitted of course so far) with her so soon, like he's known her like not even a month yet and has decided he's never felt like this before in his life and never will again, and wants to marry her and make beautiful babies and spend all their days together... Seems kinda rushed to me, like SL should've spent more time having them get to know each other in the business matters, then develop into friendship and attraction, instead of having Jonas decide in the first week that she'll be his forever regardless of her feelings about it. And am I the only one who thinks he's kinda railroading her into the relationship? Like he knows if he kisses her, her brains will fly out the window and she'll do whatever, so even though she doesn't want his attentions, he's doing it anyways, almost like a forced seduction or something... I don't know if I'm saying it right. Just seems like they wouldn't have gotten into bed together if he wouldn't have been so stalkerish, popping up everywhere she went, appearing over her shoulder and breathing on her neck, kinda forcing her to pay attention to him.
He was a little stalkerish. However, I think he realized she was attracted to him even though she was fighting it an I figure he thought if he'd push he'd get what he wanted.
Finished! I actually liked it, especially once they figured out the riddle and were searching for and finding the treasure, etc. Best of the last 5 or 6 we've read in my opinion. I even ended up reading the last 2 or 3 sex scenes without skimming, lol. Actually kinda looking forward to the next one now. Which one is next again? Ok, off to try and get a halfway-coherent review written. :)
