Why do you do this to me? I don't want to start another long series but the buddy reads in this group are so tempting. I'm resisting for now

I inherited this book 2 years ago and it has been sitting on a shelf waiting to be read. I keep meaning to start it and something else shiny comes along to distract me. I am going to attempt to read along with you all.
