Clare--no idea what your book is, but I've moved this down to Unsolved for you. More people will see it and respond to it down there.
However--a quick question--how long ago did you read this?

Roze - you need to create a specific thread for this, and give it a title which has some information (people tend not to look at ones which just say "do you know this book"). Perhaps "Girl goes back in time and meets boy's ancestor".
About ten years ago the hero left his college friends to attend his fathers burial. He left the heroine pregnant unknownst to him. She is now a lawyer and he needs her help.I think that she went to Oxford and is now practicing in Chicago. She has a son that the hero doesn't know about. Hero is in some corporate problems I think and an old college friend advises him to seek heroines advice. The book opens with the hero watching his friend aka the heroine, whom he has made love to, sleep. She had stayed to comfort him after hearing of his father's death.
Please, please HELP!!! It is driving me crazy trying to think about the title in order to get another copy!Ta very much, Clare
