"No.' she whispered. In her dream, Tim had come and was stealing the baby.
"Samantha," he said, putting a hand on her cheek.
"Samantha," he said, more sternly.
Samantha whimpered hut ceased to speak.
"Samantha," he shook her, gently.
He hugged her, holding her close.
He rubbed her back. "Shh," he said, softly, "it's ok, it was just a bad dream."
"Our baby wasn't even born yet, and when it is, I promise I will keep it safe."
Samantha tried to breath deep. "Promise?"
He nodded and kissed the top of her head, "good."
Samantha curled up next ti him, kissing his arm
"I will keep you and our baby safe, if it's the last think I do."
Samantha looked up at him. "Don't bother keeping Me safe, just make sure the baby is okay.' she whispered.
"When our baby is born, keeping it safe will be my first priority, you will be a close second."
Samantha kissed him back gently and lovingly.
He pulled back slightly and smiled at her, "I love you so much."
"I love you, too." she replied. She didn't care the words were cliche.
Samantha smiled, almost forgetting the dream. Almost.
He continued stroking her hair, "hungry?"
"Don't care." she shrugged, reluctantly getting up. "But can I cook?"
Samantha smiled and ran to the kitchen.
She was already scrubbing potatoes, humming yo herself.
He came up behind her, "need help."
Samantha jumped. "Nope." she said cheerfully.
"Ok," he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck.
Samantha giggled softly and stuck the potatoes Ib the iveb.
Samantha grabbed his hands and swirled around the room with him.
He chuckled and put his hands on her hips.
Samantha smiled and rested her hands on his beck.
He held her close and kissed her, softly.
