Need help with a title

So, I picked up a book awhile back in a bookstore and read the first chapter. Unfortunately, I put it down with getting the title and author. It starts out in a city setting, with a woman who meets a man (his sense of smell leads him to her). I think it is either a demon or vampire series. Anyway, he feels that there is something different about her, and wants to get her to safety before the others like him sense her.
I know that is not much to go on. LOL. Anyone?

yeah I feel like this is just about any shifter or vamp romance you read... you don't remember anything else from the cover blurb?

A very common theme in paranormal. Need more specifics. Where are they meeting in the city? Nightcliub? Work? At night, a vamp most likely.

is it city of glass? just a guess but the description you gave sounds like a lot of books. this one starts that way.

All I can remember is that she is out, and he senses her, they kiss and he wants to get her to safety. I know, helpful right? I want to say it had to be vampire or guardian type. It was steamy, even starting out.

That sounds like the Carpathian series by Christine Feehan. The vampire heroes "sense" their soul mate is close to them.
First book .

I want to say it almost sounds like the Providence Trilogy by Jamie McGuire. if it is that was a great series! but it was Angel guardians and demons....good stuff. I hope this helps

Have you ever had someone review a book for you and not like what you said? It happened to me and I will not do it again.
The book had Great potential but desperately needed a good editor....not me....GURU is a goo place to go. She was less than pleased with my response....so , I won't be doing it again.
