Bliss stepped into the grocery story for the first time in her life. Her parents usually had people to do this stuff for them. Bliss sighed. She hadn't talked to her parents in over a week. If they knew what she was up to they would be furious. As movie stars they were always busy...much to busy to worry about her. Her mom thought she was with her dad, and her dad thought she was with her mom. Too bad they didn't pay enough attention to notice she wasn't with either of them.(view spoiler)
Bliss frowned when she heard the crash and walked towards it to see a younger girl picking up the mess. Without thinking Bliss walked over and began helping her. The girl looked about her height but Bliss could tell that the girl was younger than she was.
Bliss smiled sweetly at the girl, she was polite, Bliss liked that. Bliss gave the girl a quick once over, she was pretty. The girl was a natural beauty, unlike the surgically enhanced beauties Bliss was used to seeing. It was refreshing. Bliss's own mother had already had two nose jobs. Despite how much she refused it to the paparazzi and her fans. Although Bliss would never tell anyone that. Bliss realized the girl had spoken to her, "Oh, um, you're welcome."
Bliss took the girl's hand with ease, she was so sweet. Bliss couldn't see how anyone would be rude to such a girl. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Rory. I'm..." Bliss paused, she almost told this girl her real name. That would be a disaster, Bliss moved to Immortal Beach for the summer to get away from the craziness her life had become thanks to her parents. She didn't want to be know as the Kali Sinclair...she wanted to be Bliss, just Bliss. "I'm Bliss." she said, brushing her almost slip with a smile.
Bliss stared after her in amusement, Rory was peculiar, but in a good way. She could tell she had made her suspicious, Bliss needed to be more careful. "Bye Rory, it was great meeting you as well." Bliss called after the hurrying girl. Bliss sighed. Now she needed to get to her own grocery shopping...this was going to turn out, well hopefully good.
Bliss made it through her first grocery shopping trip. It wasn't so bad, she loaded her stuff in her car and headed home.
