Kat (katsobsession) | 66 comments But I can't remember the author or the name of the series or any of the books. It is a fantasy trilogy, about wizards with staffs who bond with hawks and owls. And I think it's out of print. Does that sound familiar to anyone at all?? Going nuts trying to find it.

Shannon (frejafolkvangar) | 107 comments They bond with Hawks in The Chronicles of the Cheysuli, but they aren't called wizards and don't have staffs. And a wizard named Sparrowhawk has a hawk staff in Earthsea, but no owls.

Kat (katsobsession) | 66 comments I know it's not Earthsea, am looking up the other now.

Kat (katsobsession) | 66 comments Nope, that's 8 books, and I know this was only 3. Anyone else have a guess?

Shannon (frejafolkvangar) | 107 comments Do you remember what the cover looked like or how long they were?

message 6: by Kat (new)

Kat (katsobsession) | 66 comments Um, I want to say somewhere in the realm of 300-400 pages each. And I think the predominate color of the first book's cover was blue. I think.
